The lights are on
Let's not forget the amazing music that these games have.
I grew up with the NES and really don't mind the graphics. I still feel some of the best music in gaming came from the SNES. It just seemed like back then there was more focus on story and music because graphics could only go so far. I've seen games that look awesome, but fail in the music and/or storyline department.
Yep, loved them ever since my days with the NES. The fact that it's easy to associate 8/16-bit games with some of the best video game music ever conceived certainly doesn't hurt either.
Grew up with them, so yes the love for retro graphics will always be there for me ♥
No I don't. They are to blurry.
I saw them all the time while I was in Thailand, so yes I love it!
Eh its so 20th century but after a whole lot of modern retrospect good
I think you've got Blurry and Sharp mixed up :P
Wish I could vote- I am in the Meh category, With VERY STRONG leanings towards No, I am tired of 8- and 16- bit Visuals.
Being from the mid-nineties I am not to interested in old art styles
I didn't really grow up with them (N64/gamecube were my first consoles), but I did play with my brother on his NES and I didn't care about the graphics, I still prefer the older games to some of the newer ones.
I grew up playing the NES and SNES, thus I love them.
Not even a question... Retro Mega Man-esque pixels is what I enjoyed about my childhood.... Got my little nephew playing TMNT 1989, so he understands that these CG-heavy FPS platforms owe a lot to the 2-D side scrollers that paved the way for them...
