The lights are on
That's a negative, Ghost Rider, my bandwidth is full. I understand the desire to prevent any and all potential piracy, that's perfectly fine with me. But as was seen with the Sim City debacle, there is just too much room for error, and any error involving the servers will result in my console being unplayable.
No way. I love the 360 better than the play station 3, but if this the case I'm jumping ship. I buy the game it's mine. If I can turn the console on I should be able to use my games. single player is still huge for me in most games. I should be able to maintain that playing online or off! If I can't then you lost me. Am not losing that much control to help Microsoft out. I love the company for more than gaming, but that going to far for me.
No. And that's the reason why I snubbed Diablo III. However, since this poll is obviously about Microsoft's next move, my thought is; I bet this is all a about the big trolling.
I think there simply isn't enough information availible yet to make that decision. Assuming we're talking about MS, if they implement this we don't know how it will be done, what features will be present, and how it may (or may not) benfit gamers. *IF* I was going to buy an always online console from one of the big 3, MS would be the only one I would trust to handle it correctly. I'm going to wait until the console is actually announced before making my decision.
I would buy a non-online competitor's console first , but in all honesty I would probably buy an always on console if it had an amazing exclusive game, for example Gears of War or Halo. I would still have bought a 360 if it had a constant internet requirement but instead of it being my primary console I would probably have just used it for a few xbox exclusive games and gotten the rest of my games on PS3.
NO *** WAY, AND WHY CANT I VOTE ON THIS POLL?
Because you have to reach at least bronze member status to vote on polls.
I would if there were benefits to it being always online. If you can make a solid argument for it requiring the feature for more than to block used games or to annoy me with ads then I would consider it, but I would prefer to be able to go offline
Hell No would I buy an always on console. ill spend my money else where, thank you very much. This is such a stupid idea, if Microsoft actually decides to go with this course.
