The lights are on
i dont care just not zelda 2 i love LOZ
I don't play Legend of Zelda games.
3D is the way to be
Considering OoT, MM, and WW are my favorite Zeldas in order, the choice is easy for me.
3D, I really need them to put Majora's Mask on 3DS
I don't really play legend of Zelda games.
3d
Giving that I just beat quite easily the best Zelda game yet, I'm going for the top-down view. Link Between Worlds is awesome. I find myself loving it more than Wind Waker...and that's my childhood favorite.
2D are my preference but I'll play em all eventually :D
3D Zelda has still much to unlock as far as potential.
Link to the Past is my favorite by far, but the rest haven't grabbed my attention, like Wind Waker or Twilight Princess, so 3D gets my overall vote, for collective quality.
It depends on the system. A top down LoZ on the Wii U would feel underdone after seeing Wind Waker HD, but on a handheld like the 3ds, It is smarter to go top down because of how it feels. Think Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. PH is a sequel to WW. On the GCN, Wind Waker was 3D because a console gives more power to explore. Phantom Hourglass is top down because on an original ds/ds lite there are only buttons, and a touch screen making a 3d world hard to use like Super Mario 64 DS.
Correctly if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you;re saying Super Mario 64 DS was a bad game. I played that AND the original one on the 64, and it was a great game that did the original justice while adding new stuff. Also, you seem to forget that LoZ: Four Swords was released on Gamecube...which was TOP DOWN. You controlled 4 different-colored links at once, each following the the green one, but you can line up in different formation, like a box, a diamond, and straight lines. This game was good, but the big thing that shot it down was that there were LEVELS. There was no overworld or exploring. and while there were heart containers in each level along with reg gear like boomerangs and hammers, but you never get to keep anything but fairies, which caps at 99, and I reached it before entering the 4th area, and there's nine. So the only reason THAT is bad is because of the way it was designed, not that it was top down on a system that had easily handled Wind Waker before.
you're praising the top-down one which really got the series going, say all the 3D ones haven't gotten your attention, but then u say 3D got your vote. Sorta contradicted yourself there. :P
