The lights are on
Nope never going to happen
no way, i play on the go all the time.
The day that everyone in America has access to high speed internet provided at reasonable prices, with no pointless data caps will be the day I will buy an "always on" console.
I'm going with a big NO. I'm always online at home and there are times when my internet stops working. I pass that time playing my console games without a care in the world. Take that away and you just alienated me from your product.
That's a negative, Ghost Rider. I am usually on some form of internet when it is available, but honestly I live in an area where the best we can get is satellite, which is extremely slow when it is good weather, and won't even connect when it's overcast. If I am expected to pay several hundred dollars for a new console and then proceed to pay another fee for every video game and then another fee to continue to have access to all of the consoles capabilities, then by golly I expect to be able to use it without being connected to the internet.
p.s: how do I vote on the poll???
We both know that's speed of light fast then, lol!
I'm a gamer; a lover of music!
NO! I already have problems with DLC not working offline, this is a terrible idea that only benefits publishers not consumers.
Never. Instead of pointing out problems with "always-on" games, let's look at the PSN hack a few years ago. In that case the entire PSN service was offline for a month, but that didn't keep people from playing games. Now imagine the same scenario, but with an "always-on" console...ya, we all see where this is going.
