The lights are on
There should have been an option for the economic aspect. Sometimes it's not about quality of the game or getting extra time to develop, but to avoid a particularly busy time for releases. I can support that because I don't have enough money to buy 10 games in a month.
Just make sure the game is good. I can wait. I don't need yearly releases like some franchises assume.
I dont mind delays as long as the game is great when it comes out
You just got Sarged!!!
If it's for sales, that makes sense. But in terms of development they shouldn't call a release date until they are confident they will finish it or are finished with a game. I'd rather wait than get a release dat and then have my hopes killed
I think that the developers should take their time to make the game good.
P.S. DEM TIG OL BITTIES!
Well depends if the delay will help the game be better than go for it. If the delay is because they don't want to release it with another game at the same time they should get over themselves. If they delay it because they are behind schedule that makes sense too. I suppose it just depends on the reason really but in general I suppose developers should take their time (which has a typo on there am I the only one who saw it?)
Exactly. I understand the wish to "stake a claim" on a release date, but why choose a date 6 months from now just to have to change it? Why not wait until you're actually sure you can hit that date? On the other hand, if the developer actually thought it was going to hit that date and didn't... that makes me wonder about the quality of the game.
Just wait until you're absolutely sure! When you build it, they'll come!
Let the Developers take their time. If you want it released ASAP, just think how bad the game is and probably will be have bad graphics.
Developers should take their time to make a better game.
"I am Ironclad! In God's armor, I shall not fall."
There had better be some major improvements. Delayed game usually gets me hyped up. When I play it I feel like it is so different than what I heard before
i like when their time on games because its a better game
I have no problem with delays just don't wait to the day of release and say it is now delayed. Gamers understand and appreciate being informed. I have reserved this game and the south park rpg which also has been delayed, and can wait. It would be nice if developers would announce CE/LE and allow gamers the extra time to pay off the addition cost associated with them.
I hate them but at the same time i strangely don't care as long as they still come out.
I would rather wait a little longer to have better quality than to have some faulties.
