Tuesdays With Morrie, or The Five People You Meet In Heaven - both by mitch albom and both are light quick reads.

If thats not your thing - the try Phantom Tollbooth. It was one of my favorite books as a kid and plays on words frequently.

A Child Called "It."

I am currently reading "The Broken Window". It is written by Jeffery Deaver, the writer of "The Bone Collector" and other Lincoln Rhyme novels. It would probably be classified as a cyber-thriller, but has elements of a good mystery.

Well I found this book for $1 at a Dollar Tree. I don't know if you have one near you or if they sell books but this was seriously the deal of the century book wise. I read "Blood Crazy" by Simon Clark. It's a zombie story and it's one of the best books I have ever read if not the best. I read every night so that's saying something.

I just read beautiful boy by david sheff and tweak by nic sheff (his son). They are non-fiction books about them overcoming his sons addiction to drugs. So if you're into that kind of thing...

it would help to know what you are into?  Fiction or non-fiction? thrillers? fantasy?  I have huge library in my house, so I could probably find something you would like.

Would fantasy count? If so you should read Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy.

I love the Sookie Stackhouse books (TrueBlood is based off of the series), and The Road was great if you're into post-apocalyptic story lines.

The Teachings of Don Juan  is a great book based on quasi-tribal life around the boarder of the U.S. and Mexico.

Pick up The dragon Lance series. Margret Weise and Tracey Hickman are Gods. They write books that cant be set down. But make sure you their name is on the book. There are other people who have written dragon lance books and they suck. I believe the first book is titled The Dragons of Summer Passing.

If you like espionage then you should pick up something from Tom Clancy. Politika is a great one to start of with. Its slightly smaller than the others like Rainbow Six and Red October. And its not a movie. If your anything like me then movies kill a good read and just about everyone has seen Red October and or Clear and Present Danger

The Da Vinci code is good. If you're into that kind of thing. You might want to check out Angel's & Demon's, too.  Their's also a third coming out, but i don't recomend book's i haven't read. These are seriously difficult to figure out book's, so it's fun trying to solve them before the end. (There way better then the movie.) What more need's to be said? Dan Brown's a killer author.

If you're into the classic's their's Treasure Island, The Swiss Family Robinson, The Prince and the Pauper, Gone With the Wind, or The adventure's of Tom and Huck. Really i could go on infinently here.

If you're into the real classic's find the Illiad. It's the odessy.  Or A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I also recommend the Dragonlance series, or The Lord of the Ring's. Tolkien has an entire collection of novel's if you've already read the ring. Also check out the Shannara series.

I could go on forever (i read alot!) I really enjoy'd these book's, and i hope one of them will "tickle your fancy".
