The date never happened. Her kid got sick but oh well I got bigger problems.
My boss stepped down and I'm a shoe in for his position. I was trained after hours for months. I already applied and will get probably get it. The question that I'm concerned with is, "how can one of my best bosses just step down? What I'm I not seeing?"
Maybe he just wanted to leave or someone even higher up than him wanted to get rid of him.

It looks like we're in the same boat. I'm majoring in Game Design also but at Full Sail. I just started at the beginning of this month.
I went out to eat to wienerschnitzel today. Sadly going out to lunch is often turning out to be the highlight of my day. I finished Half Life 2 and about to Finish Half Life 2 Episode 1 again. :D
Here is the bad news, my boss trained me and stepped down in hopes to work for me. Or maybe run from a issue. In the end, I've seen eight supervisors fired in four years. And four step down last month. I feel like I'm running into the fire. But I know what its like to be burnt and no longer fear the fire.
It's official my wife got her transfer so we will be moving into our house at the end of the month. Can't wait to get out of this apartment and get room especially for the kids to play in and a yard too. So going to start packing this week which is always fun. Going from 1000 sq. ft. to a little over 2000 sq. ft. so it will be a nice change. Now I just have to find a job up there.

Jairo(conkerlives) and I are dating. He just moved to seattle and is living with me for 2 months until Pat moves here and steals him away. We're cuddling in our underwear as I speak(type?). He hallucinates when he's just waking up and spent a minute mumbling what he was seeing. It's pretty adorable. It's made PAX extra fun this year; I did spooky splicer bloody makeup on him. We're a little mismatched in appearance ^^;.

Just started my second year of college. I'm still officially undeclared, but I already have a strong idea as to what I want to do. I just have to start applying to get into the appropriate school, which is pretty stressful. Like every other time that I come back to school after a break home, I've been missing home and my family. I got really close to a lot of my friends this summer too, and it's tough being so far from everyone. I know I'll meet a lot of new people here too, but it's just difficult for me to do so.
School has been keeping me really busy with a lot of reading. I just want to graduate already and start a career and have some security. I feel so in-debt right now throwing so much money to my university and just living on campus and paying for books and materials. It's too expensive.
I want to just have a job, know I'm financially secure, and just lay outside with friends or family and enjoy life without all of the stress.
