The lights are on
New week, yet there is no talk about up coming games, it is all about the decision by the Pats to go for it on 4th and 2 on their own 28. Personally, I wish the analysts would get over it. By probability, they had an 80% chance to win that way as opposed to 79% with punting. Didn't work out. Time to move on.
We finally have a 16 game slate again. No bye weeks left. My 3 key games to watch are as follows:
Baltimore/ Indianapolis: Always a good matchup. High calibur offense vs superb defense. Well matched on the other sides as well. Haven't made up my mind on this one, but should be one hell of a game.
Denver/San Diego: The chargers have suddenly shown a spark and the Broncos appear to be fading fast. Denver has a huge question mark at the Quarterback position that up until now has been very solid. Their defense needs to find a resurrection if they want to be able to stop the Chargers' offense. Without Orton I don't see this one going in Denver's favor.
Finally Houston/Tennessee: Chris Johnson is a beast. I mean an absolute monster. In his last game against the Texans, he ran the ball 16 times for 197 yards and 2 TDs, as well as having 9 catches for 87 yards. Expect another great game from him as the Titans have figured things out finally and will get revenge for the loss they had earlier in the season.
Chargers and Rivers. All the way.

As much as I can't stand the Patriots, I do feel it was the right call to go for it. The Patriots are money on 4th Down. That's probably why I can't stand them so much. They play to win and usually do.
Anyway, about the upcoming week, I think Baltimore could take down the Colts. Ray Lewis gets revved up for the big games and the Colts are coming off of an emotional win against the Pats. Perfect time for the Ravens to surprise them.

Lets go Pack. ^_^.
I get to go to the Packer game. I'm super-excited :D

Ronnie Brown placed on IR with a foot injury, done for the year. His free agency depends on whether or not a new CBA is reached due to the language of his rookie contract. God *** it
My fantasy team just died.
...naked
My team's season just died for good. After a brutal first half of the schedule we've got average to mediocre teams in the Panthers, Bills, Titans, Jags ahead that I think we could've beaten at full strength. Not anymore though. ***, if we're going to suck I want us to suck enough to land Dez Bryant.

The Vikes signed Chilly to an extension yesterday. Can't say I'm excited though, I much rather they evaluated this in the off-season after seeing how the season turns out for us.
I'd say we're having a good enough season so far...
...in the shower.
As hot as the Colts are right now, I think they're going to lose this week. Not for any special reason. I just think it's time. They always lose around this time every year.
-STRAFE-: I'd say we're having a good enough season so far...
Oh we're having a great season but I'd like to see Chilldress have some playoff success first.
Chargers are taking control of the AFC West this week. A Simms-led Broncos are sure to suck.
