The lights are on

To round off this weekend, I'm just going to go through some of my favorite Nintendo games. Throughout this 31/31, I've had a few ideas for some blogs, but some have come up randomly on that day. Unfortunately, today, I haven't been able to think of anything really creative.
So yep, today, we have a boring topic! Yay.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
In case you didn't know, this is my favorite game ever. Like I've said before, this is the game that made me truly into a gamer, and got me playing more than ever. The overall scope of the game was epic, with some great sequences, and calm ones as well. I particularly like the part where Midna's Lament is played.
This was one of the(unfortunately, few) Wii games I played last year, and it ended up being one of my favorites on the system. It took over 60 hours to beat, and I enjoyed it much more than some other RPGs like Skyrim. Despite the low-key graphics, I really loved the game, as it had a much more enjoyable battle system and story than Skyrim, so I'd rank it more alongside Fallout 3 in how good it was. I can't wait for Monolith Soft's X.
Game Boy Advance
This game was my first introduction to the Pokemon series. While I may not play games from the series tons nowadays, back when I got it, it was one of the games I played the most. It was my first RPG, and I still have my level 100 Charizard from my original cartridge on my Platinum cartridge.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Yeah, you read that. I love this game-it was also made like a traditional RPG, with a turn based battle system, leveling up, and having certain party members. The great part about the game was that once you beat it, you could start a new game with your party completely leveled up. Getting to level 100 was a blast.
Star Fox Assault
I know that this game wasn't received very well by the gaming community, but I had a good time with it. My friends and I would play a lot of the multiplayer with my friends, and I had tons of fun with it. I would pay $60 up front today for a Wii U eShop release that just had the multiplayer. Make it happen, Nintendo.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
I actually went back and played this game after getting Phantom Hourglass, which made this game by 3rd Zelda title. I was amazed by the art style, and I had lots of fun exploring and mapping out the different islands. The remake on Wii U is something I'm super duper excited for.
Nintendo DS and 3DS
The World Ends with You
In case you haven't noticed by my avatar, or the fact that half of my blogs for this 31/31 involved a picture from this game, I really love The World Ends with You. I feel really connected with Neku, as we're both similar, even after his transformation throughout the game. Despite my anger towards the hyped up countdown that I hated last summer, I will buy a sequel to this day one.
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
I really, really loved this game. I'm planning on replaying it all over again just to experience the story once more, because of how good it was. It was my GOTY last year, and I can't wait for Chunsoft's third title in the Zero Escape series.
