So are you going to make Republic commando 2 or not Lucas Arts?

Yes, yes i know what you are saying(I have ESP[N] you know...I don't use it much, but i have it), "Well that's a strange way to start off a blog" yes, yes it is, but I'm not sure if they have been dropping hints or are simple baiting me.

Let me Explain, while i was searching the web for Republic commando and i came across this trailer for Season 3 of the Clone Wars TV series(I stopped watching it last year) and it showed Delta Squad in it in the first few seconds of it.

 Well after that i figured I'd find out what the sales Figures were for the first Republic Commando just to see if that was the case why they haven't made a sequel. But apparently They never released any Sales figures for Republic Commando, but i did find out that there was an Easter Egg about Delta 38's helmet or something  in The Force Unleashed.

And i'm Getting sidetracked again. so last week i talked about Intellectual NPCs and Zero Punctuations This week i retort...

Well in order for me to review it, i think i need to split it up into three parts.

The first part:The first two hundred to Three hundred to be exact were pretty good but had some corny bits about it(By that i mean every other character getting a Mando marriage), but it was alright.

The second part: Basically after Palpatine gives the order to kill all Jedi. This part was actually really good and Quite suspenseful and it almost had me hooked until that is the last part...

The last part: The last part is what ruins the book(For me at least). So what ruins this book(For me i mean) is the fact that the kill off one of the characters in one of the most Anticlimatic fashions i have ever had the misfortune to read. So much so that i thought i was watching Clash Of The Titans(Well glancing for a few minutes, laughing and then going back to looking at a wall for lack of better entertainment) again for a few moments.

The character(Etain) and omega squad are on there way to the escape ship when one of several disguised Jedi drops his light sabers and is noticed and the jedi turn on there light sabers in the crowed. A fight ensues and as one of the Jedi is about to strike a trooper the character deliberately steps in front with out drawing a bloody stinking weapon and dies like she had nothing better to do with her time.

If your going to kill off your characters, at least do it in a way that doesn't make me want to do a double Picard face palm.

The book is still pretty good but not as good as the other books in the series.

Recommendations:Well if you read the other books in the series then read it and make up your mind.

  Well i just got Star wars Imperial Commando(Sequel to the Republic Commando series that i just reviewed, If you haven't guessed) and a book called The Age Of Ra Which sounds kinda like Stargate, but who knows?
