Right now, I'm blogging out of anger. The reason why, is personal. But Here's the story. I was looking through blogs to read, and noticed tons of these WGWC posts. What were they? So I did a little research. I found out it's a little project to help improve writing, and it's for the Writing Guild. So why not? I love to write, I am in the Writing Guild, so I jumped. So in this blog post, I'll discuss why I write, and who I am.
I write because It's a passion for me. Between gaming and blogging, mixing the two together was genius. Thank you, GameStop for making GameInformer. We all love you. Because of this, I have my career planned out ahead of me. I want to work at GameInformer when the time comes around. I blog because I need to improve my writing in order for this to work out. I am going to go to college and learn about graphic arts, so I have something to fall back on if I don't get the job at GameInformer. Sounds awkward, but I'd rather work at GameInformer and not make as much money as working at Electronic Arts.196
^ Dream job. enough said.
Another reason I write is to express myself, and dig into my creative thoughts. Let me tell you, there is some crazy sci-fi stuff buried in there. I was thinking, and thought about a gun we could put in a sci-fi game. It's called the pressure gun. The ammunition is a bunch of gas pushed into a small clip, increasing pressure. When you shoot, it fires a small particle, killing the enemy with one 'bullet'. Anyway, I hate reading novels. There's a very few of them that I like. I never re-read. These are the books I like:
Anything else I like to read is mangas:
That's what I like. 336
Who I am is a laid-back person, who gets good grades in school, and games when not doing anything else. I play guitar, and I know plenty of songs. I don't know so much that I forget them all, but I know quite a bit. This is what I know:
Music is also very inspirational to games. If you noticed, quite a bit of those were from the Zelda games.
My favorite genre of games is MMORPG. Running around in a open environment, doing side-quests and screwing around instead of doing the main story. That's the thing about MMORPGs now, they don't include a truly captivating story that makes you want to play it. Just the screwing around part, and the community.
My next favorite is RPGs. Great cinematic values? Yes, please. Especially with Final Fantasy and White Knight Chronicles, I'm very open to any game. Also, I don't count Kingdom Hearts as an RPG. In fact, it's a disgrace to the Square Enix name altogether. Not like Disney wasn't already bad, they made some good movies and some good games(Split/Second was great), but their movies and KH just don't do it for me the way it does for some other people. My last favorite genre is FPS. Nothing suits my needs like a nice match in any map shooting enemies, and leveling up. With the 2 upcoming FPS games Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, I'm so excited. Also, If you use a bow in the Elder Scrolls, it becomes an FPS. Just so you know.
I have to buy this game used, because MW3 and BF3 are more important to me at the moment.
Pre-ordered this game, can't wait for next Tuesday.
Also Pre-ordered this. Battlefield 3 will entertain me until this release. Then I'm juggling 2 games.
So, that's me. In total, that's 744 words.
I beat your challenge, BlackHeartedWolf!
