Well, well, well. It looks like I've been very neglectful of this community. Well actually neglectful of alot of things, but hey a man has got to make his money some way. Unfortunately for you fine folks here at GIO, and to the chagrin of those other podcasts on this site, The 4th Floor is in fact alive and well, and much like an other we're coming back to take over the lands of men with our icey blue eyes, and cold flesh. You folks who don't know me, and there are plenty I'm sure, are in for a real treat as I present to you Episode 5 of Season 2 for The 4th Floor: The 4th Floor Strikes Back. So come journey with me across a spooky land, and make sure you bring your sword that shoots laser beams. If you feel like a man dressed up like Peter Pan than we can save the Triforce (I did not steal that from Brental Floss, and no I don't lie).
Ah GIO community it feels good to be back in the thrall of the hustle and bustle of this splendid gaming community, and our break was long lived, but hopefully our time back is longer. This episode finds myself, and my esteemed cohost Liz discussing our favorite topic, movies, and of course my favorite topic video games. What movies you ask? Well how about two Joss Whedon movies, The Avengers for one and Cabin in the Woods as our other movie. We take a break from the Joss Whedon godliness, and present our Movie of The Week as Garden State, and excellent movie from Zac Braff that is highly underrated, and perhaps a tad overhyped as well, but still one of our all time favorite movies.
Our Charity of The Month is a bit generic, and ask that you just support active and retired soldiers in anyway that you can. It is May and that means Memorial Day is around the corner, so please take some time to find a way to help those who have fought to protect us from harm, whether real or imaginary.
For our second segment of the show we talk about video games, and a decent amount of them. I've been busy playing some games lately and reviewing them for The Game Effect, and figured why not share my "professional" opinion with you on this fine show. Of course if you'd like further clarification just click on the links of the titles below to read the full review for each game.
