The lights are on

The PS Vita has gotten a lot of attention at TGS. It has looked very impressive to a lot of people(including myself). A lot of games have been announced. Here are my top ten most anticipated PS Vita games.
10. Katamari Damacy Vita
The Katamari series is back. This quirky game didn't get a lot of attention at TGS, but I'm still looking forward to it. The Katamari series has some of the most unique games you'll ever find. There really isn't anything like it. This game is scheduled to be on the Vita near its launch in Japan. Hopefully this game will be brought over to the States.
9. Shinobido 2
Shinobido 2 is a stealth-action game where you play as a ninja. Shinobido 2 offers up a lot of ways to assassinate your targets. There will be a lot of creative ways to kill an enemy. Shinobido 2 is looking to be one of the more violent games for the Vita. It will be released at launch for all territories.
8. Street Fighter X Tekken
Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover between the Street Fighter and Tekken franchises. Street Fighter X Tekken is looking to be one of the best fighting games for the Vita. It is looking pretty good graphically. It's also introducing some new types of gameplay that have not been seen in either the Street Fighter or the Tekken franchise. This game is scheduled to come out early next year.
7. Escape Plan
Escape Plan was announced for the Vita at Gamescom. In Escape Plan, you guide two characters named "Lil" and "Laarg" through various locations. Escape Plan is a very unique game. It doesn't use any buttons. You'll play the game using the touch screen, back touch panel, and gyroscope. Escape Plan has a very cool art style. Escape Plan also has some funny death scenes. The game doesn't seem to punish you for dying. This will be a very interesting title to play. Unfortunately, it could be a while before it comes out.
6. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
This updated version of Marvel vs Capcom 3 is looking to compete with Street Fighter X Tekken to be the Vita's best fighting game. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will have new modes, new characters, and optional touchscreen controls. I personally am looking forward to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 for the Capcom characters. Capcom has some of my favorite video games characters. Look for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 early 2012.
5. Little Big Planet Vita
Little Big Planet for the Vita is going to give gamers many new ways to design levels. Using the Vita's special capabilities, players will be able to design levels that they wouldn't have been able to design on the PS3. I can't wait to see what kinds of levels people will come up with. Little Big Planet 2 has some really creative levels, but I think Little Big Planet on the Vita is going to have even more creativity. Look for this game at launch.
Rayman Origins is the reboot of the Rayman franchise. It is also one of the most beautiful games I've seen in a long time. It has a really pretty art style. Of course, it also looks like it will be an outstanding platformer. Rayman Origins is starting to build up a decent amount of hype. We'll find out if the Vita version lives up to the hype next year.
3. Resistance: Burning Skies
Resistance: Burning Skies is looking to be the first great portable FPS. The Vita has dual analog sticks so experiences like this can happen. Resistance: Burning Skies looks great graphically. I can't wait to be able to play a FPS on the go. Assuming they give it online multiplayer, Resistance: Burning Skies could be one of the best games of 2012.
2. Metal Gear Solid Collection/Final Fantasy X, Ninja Gaiden Sigma
At TGS, it was announced that Metal Gear Solid Collection, Final Fantasy X, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma would be coming to the Vita. Even though these are remakes, I'm still really looking forward to them. These are great games, even if they aren't new experiences. All systems need variety, and these games will give the Vita a lot of variety. The Metal Gear Solid Collection has three great games that have some of the best stealth gameplay in all videogames. Even though a lot of fans would rather have a remake of Final Fantasy VI or VII, Final Fantasy X is an outstanding JRPG. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a great action game. The combination of these three games will give the Vita a lot of variety when they are released next year.
1. Uncharted: Golden Abyss
You probably saw this coming. My most anticipated PS Vita game is Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Uncharted: Golden Abyss looks to be a portable game with console quality. In the past, portable games that I've tried to imitate a console experience have just been dumbed down versions of their console brothers. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is going to try to change that. Even though it's not being developed by Naughty Dog, I'm hoping it will be just as good as its console brothers. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is the biggest title coming out for the Vita. A lot is riding on it. We'll find out if Uncharted: Golden Abyss will live up to the hype early next year.
