Maybe there's a ton of activity somewhere on this site that isn't readily visible to me, but GIO really seems to lack the capacity for the type of in-group that you're describing, or at least one in all of its hierarchical, odious glory. To see that in full swing, your best bet is to go somewhere where dozens, sometimes over 100 active posts per day is the norm. I'm not saying that it isn't possible on a relatively low volume site like GIO, but its much harder to be an attention *** when your overall level of exposure isn't characterized by self absorbed junk posted like 50 times per day.
By the way, the fact that we don't have this problem in spades is a *good* thing...

Ok, I have a very important question. I'm online all the time and I post a lot. I'm a pretty active member in general. I would say I have a good sense of humor and I like to joke around a lot. My question is, am I cool enough to be in the Cool Kids Club? I know I'm not on your friends list Night, but I think that is partly because I'm not the friend request sending kind of guy.
