Hard to believe that February has come and gone. Sure, it's a short month, but still...it's done and over; a memory of the past now. In keeping with my goal and my new blog series, I present to you the GIO User Blog Statistics for the month of February. It was a good month, a busy month. Lots of new faces and of course a steady stream of content from the regulars.

This month I'm adding a few new categories to the statistics. I'll continue to tweak it as time goes on. Also, I'd like to point out the obvious...that since it's a short month some of the data may be skewed a bit, but I think since this is just an informal blog and not some complex equation used to send a rocket to the moon we'll be okay. If anyone would like to check my work, by all means, check it. I'll warn you though, I limped along in Algebra. There's something about mixing letters and numbers I just couldn't ever seem to grasp.

For the record, all data was collected today...tonight...so the views and run counts are all being collected at the same moment in time. I think that's the fairest way to do it. Just in case you were wondering.

This month also witnessed a noticeable increase in Staff and Moderator feedback, which is a good thing. I think that interaction with the staff is what fuels a lot of bloggers to do what they do. Even if it isn't inspirational, certainly it is rewarding for those who weren't expecting that kind of recognition.

Hope you enjoy the stats!

*NOTE* This data is accurate for the time I retrieved it. Obviously, it's subject to change and not guaranteed to be 100% correct.

Summary: With only two months under our belt, it's still nearly impossible to try and develop any kind of trend or metric to measure the data. As time goes on we'll have more data available and I'll be able to build some geeky bar graphs to show views and what not. At this point, it doesn't look like there is any logical pattern to the number of comments, views or posts. It pretty much looks random - the Chaos Theory, if you will.

Well, until next month...happy blogging (or reading)!
