Jack returns this week to have a bunch of in-depth discussions about various games. We tackle the Mass Effect 3 ending DLC and get into a very heated discussion about the value of the new endings. Then we tackle Half-Life 2 and discuss why Jack has never finished it and why Jeremy isn't blown away by it. I get offended and my fanboy comes out, baring fangs like a rabid dog in a corner.

My mom even stops by to remind me not to forget her when I become "big", whatever that means. I'm thinking about incorporating her into the show in a regular segment called "Daniel's Mom quotes video games". Let me know if you think that's a good idea and we'll make it happen.

I also give my thoughts on Spec Ops: The Line. I'm terrible at expressing myself with my voice but on paper, I feel like I do a much better job, so if you want to read my (somewhat) eloquent words on the game, check out my review on TheGameEffect here.

Great Video Games... That I Hate by Cody Gilley

This week's music is a song off of Fiona Apple's new album titled (get ready for this, it's a ridiculously long name): The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do. Yup, it's a weird title, and a weird album. Enjoy the song though. You can stop by her site here.

Also, if you haven't signed up for Extra-Life and joined Team GIO yet, then...well... I'm probably not going to convince you to, but just in case you have a change of heart and want to help sick kids by playing video games for hours, then check out the site

Enjoy the show on here or subscribe to us on iTunes.

That's it for this week though.
