On this week's episode we nominate me for The Tester (sorta), we address the "R" word controversy, Saint's new herding responsibilities, charity, my new writing opportunity and give our impressions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I realize after listening to the final cut of this episode that I should learn when to shut my mouth some times because I'm sure some of you will have some opinions about some of the many stupid things I say on this episode. I think there are at least five different points where I wish I had put my foot in my mouth, so keep track of those. That should be fun. Jeremy, of course remains very diplomatic the whole time, as usual.

We also put out a call asking for anyone who might be interested in being a guest on the show to let us know. All we ask is that you have a Skype account and a little spare time during the week. Bribes also help. At least for me.

Here are this week's community spotlights:

Listen for the contest question of the week! Give one of us the correct answer in a conversation on Game Informer Online and you could win your choice of the prizes listed below:

  • One of four Mass Effect action figures
  • A $20 PSN gift card
  • A $20 Wii Card
  • A copy of All Your Base Are Belong To Us by Harold Goldberg
  • A copy of Bioshock: Rapture by John Shirley

This week's music is performed by the band Beirut. They are much more mellow than the other music I have used before but I am really enjoying their latest album The Rip Tide. They are a bit of a cross between Neutral Milk Hotel, The Decemberists and a mariachi band. Check out their website for more info on Beirut.
