Gamecube to Wii? Why?

I recently got finished reading an old article from Gamestop.com about Gamecube titles being transferred to Wii format.

I myself, feel that this is a great opportunity for new gamers, to experience classics, while adapted to a modern level of gaming. But to be truly honest, is Nintendo only showing their weakness of loss of creativity, by turning to recycle they’re old games?

As an example: Mario Power Tennis may have won some shelf busting, and a spot in the collection of a hardcore tennis/Mario fan. That is when it was first released for Gamecube in 2004. But for those of us, who are newcomers to the Wii system or the gaming universe, may choose Mario Power Tennis for Wii.

Many may argue that it is simply a matter of taste: Physical or arcade.  I say, to get on with more excitement and leave the past in its place.
