So I'm going mainstream with this blog, cause I feel like it and I have nothing else to do during my job. So I'm going to answer both the ten questions from the GI podcast (or wherever it came from) and Jolt's weekly question thing. I'll be alternating back and forth between the questions. So here we go.

Question 1 - What is the first console you ever owned?

The first console my family owned was the Sega Genesis. I remember only playing two games, Sonic The Hedgehog and Jurassic Park (I haven't seen any of the movies, surprising, I know). I remember being pretty good with Sonic the Hedgehog, but never getting past the T-Rex in Jurassic Park.

Question 2 - What's your least favorite current-gen game?

Hmm, little bit of a tough question. I've always bought games that I know I would like. So my list of current-gen games I dislike is basically non-existent. I guess out of all the games I own for my 360, my least favorite one would have to be a casual party game called Viva Pinata: Party Animals.

The reason for this is because I've played it a couple times, and it's just a really non-fun party game. It's worse than the Mario Party games.

Question 3 - What is your favorite game of all time?

This might be more difficult for some people, but I've had my favorite game figured out for a few years now. For some it might come as a surprise, but others (like PaperCamm) won't find it surprising at all. It's none other than:

I've always loved this game since I bought it day one. The adventure, Disney characters, combat gameplay, story, and everthing else I love. This game shall forever be my favorite, unless maybe a certain numbered entry came out.

Question 4 - If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Now this is a hard one. I could go with Kingdom Hearts 2, or I could go with something else. I guess my pick would be Mass Effect 3. I pick this game because even though KH2 is my favorite game, Mass Effect 3 has multiple story guide lines. I'd like some replayability in my games, and what better game than the ending and most climactic game in the series.

Question 5 - Recommend one game to your readers.

Everyone should go play Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP. The game is unique in it's presentation, story, and music. The music is kinda what drives the game. If you're someone who likes music and has a PC and/or an IPod, download this game.

Question 6 - What is your current theme on your console?

Pssh, and I thought Jolt would have harder questions. I have an Assassin's Creed Revelations theme on my 360 menu.

Question 7 - What is the best video game console?

Why are all the tough ones coming from the GI show questions? I would have to say the best video game console would be the PS2.

The PS2 refined what 3D games were like. Developers finally were able to understand how 3D games were run. Plus, it spawned some of my favorite series, like Kingdom Hearts and the Sly Cooper series.

Question 8 - If you could change any one thing about any one game, what would it be?

I would change having more people in Mass Effect 3. As much as I loved having more time with my favorite allies in the missions, I would have loved it more had my friends from Mass Effect 2 came and helped instead of having cameos.

Question 9 - What will happen to gaming in the next ten years?

I believe that gaming in the next ten years might switch to an episodic format. It'd kinda be like the Half-Life series, but you get to experience more of the game faster. This can lead (maybe) to a shorter development time and we might have longer games than what we might have now. I think this could be a good benefit for new IPs. If a new game doesn't sell well on it's first episode, less revenue is lost and the developers might be able to move onto something else.

Question 10 - If you were hired to make a sequel to a game that is already released, what would you like that game to be?

I'd love to help make a Mirror's Edge 2. I'm not quite sure how the story would work, but it would be an open-world game. You would be able to run on top of buildings, on the ground, and everything in between. And then, I thought of adding a multiplayer section of a race between people from Point A to Point B. And of course there would be multiple ways to get to Point B.

Question 11 - What is a big gaming series you just can't stand?

Well, there's most of racing genre I don't like, and then the entire sports genre I especially don't like. One that I've played would be, ah I'll just go with the Madden series. I've never been a fan of football, and then I really don't like how it's basically the same game each and every year with a few minor tweaks.

Question 12 - What's your favorite pizza topping?

Well, I love meat everything pizzas. But I'd have to go with the tried and true pepperoni topping. Nothing says classic like a pepperoni pizza.

Question 13 - What is the most important game ever made?

So many great games that revolutionized gaming. I'll go with Chrono Trigger. even though I've never played the game or seen anything about it, it revolutionized (a bit, maybe a lot) that large, cohesive stories could be told through video games. Plus, having multiple endings in an SNES game? Unheard of! It also has a pretty good turn-based system, so I've heard.

Question 14 - If you could go back in time and prevent the release of any one game, what would it be?

I'd go with Duke Nukem Forever. We should have just let it stay in it's vaporware state, never knowing whether it was cancelled or in production with some developer. Plus, I heard the game was pretty bad.

Question 15 - Who is the best video game character?

This should be no surprise to anyone who knows my tastes in gaming. SORA!!!!! The guy houses multiple hearts and has to protect every world from the Heartless. I'm surprised he hasn't decided to retire yet. Plus, I'm jealous of him being able to travel to different Disney worlds.

Question 16 - What's your dream vacation?

Travel the world. See the sights. Go to all the Disney Parks in the world. Nothing much.

Question 17 - What is your most anticipated game of 2012?

KH3D!!! I feel that's too soon so I'll go with both Dishonored and Assassin's Creed 3 (I can't pick between the two). I've been excited for Dishonored ever since I saw the GI cover, and then I've been a big Assassin's Creed fan ever since I read the Assassin's Creed 2 GI cover. So thanks GI for helping me expand my gaming tastes.

Question 18 - If you could make any two characters from any game or game series fight, who would they be and why?

Sora vs. Sly Cooper. They were my two favorite video game characters from my PS2 days, and they both have close-range weapons. It'd be a close battle, between Sly and his acrobatic moves and Sora and his magical abilities. I belive that Sora might win in the end, but Sly would definitely give Sora a run for his munny.

Question 19 - What did you have for lunch?

As I'm writing this, I haven't had lunch, but by the time you will read this, I will have eaten my lunch. I'm going to have a Ham, Turkey, and Cheese sandwich (my usual) with mustard on I believe wheat bread. I'll also have some goldfish (they will never stop tasting good) and a brownie.

Question 20 - What's your favorite wild animal?

I don't really know. Both my sister and brother have a favorite animal, but don't really have one. I'll just go with Koala because they look cute and look a bit like Stitch.

Thanks for reading. I know this is a bit long, but this is one way to get to know me. Also, if there are any new members reading this, there is a group just for you. It's called the GameInformer Online Welcome Group, and it's one way to start getting connected to some of the members here.
