*By new car, I'm talking like a Hot Wheels or something. Maybe an R/C car if you're lucky.

For what should hopefully be the second part of a string of blogs pimping out our festivities, I thought it would be a good idea to go into further detail about what's going on with our big shabangabang. It's high time people started getting excited, because I know for a fact that we all are.

In case you didn't know, let me bring things up to speed with what all we have planned. There's going to be an orgy get together at my house with streaming, partying, and all kinds of hilarious hijinks. You can be involved by playing the Fantabulous Shuffle Off forum game or by watching us as we play all kinds of games. The great thing about both of those activities is that you can get some swag out of it.

So who here likes prizes? I sure as hell don't. That's why I'm giving you guys a chance to take some of this crap high quality merchandise off my hands. How will you win said stuff? It's very simple. Just watch the stream and play the game in the above link. We decided that instead of doing another forum game, we're just going to have a pretty spiffy contest over at the -brocast-.

The rules are pretty simple. First off, you just have to do what we say. Whether we ask a trivia question or have you guess a song from a random video game or whatever else, whoever gets the correct answer wins a prize. The tricky part comes from having to guess what prize you want. That's the second part.

If you've ever listened to a radio station, then you've probably heard about the following scenario. A caller calls in, answers a question correctly, then has to pick a number between 1 and 50 or whatever arbitrary number you prefer, and whatever is behind that lucky door is what they win. Whether it's a BRAND NEW CAR or a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 DM Guide.

True story. I actually won the latter instead of going to California to see Audioslave one year. Needless to say, I was pissed. And now it's your turn to either feel just as angry or to be floored with what you get.

There will, however, be some pretty awesome stuff amongst those monstrosities.

I wish I could tell you how many prizes we're going to have and what all they'll be, but that part is still in the works. Hell, some people don't even have their plane tickets yet, swagless punks that they are. So, when the time is right and we have everything in gear then one of us will post a big ole' list of everything. As of right now I can give you a quick rundown of what is confirmed so far:

  • A Collector's Edition of Fallout: New Vegas
  • A DJ Hero 2 bundle
  • Dragon Quest for the DS
  • Gamestop giftcards
  • IHOP giftcards
  • Steam games of your choice
  • Tons of other games, movies, and whatever else I can dig up

Oh, and there's one more thing. Everyone who wins something on the stream will have their name put into the running for a really big prize. Even I don't know what it is yet, but I think it's safe to say that it'll be the biggest one of them all.

There you have it. If you want more info on the GIO Brotrip 2011, then check out my earlier blog, Stubbs' blog, or the big thread about all of this.

Also keep a look out for more blogs and threads about everything. Peace in the middle east.
