I probably will eventually get a PS3 so I can have all the systems, but I'm going to wait till there are more games for it. Right now, there's just not enough quality exclusives to warrant the $400 price tag.

Unless you don't care to play games. My dad wants a standard Blu-ray player, and a friend of mine just has a stand-alone BD player because he only cares for Xbox. Why spend the extra $100-150 if you don't want or need it?

I still think the better deal for getting the hardware is by grabbing a ps3. But overall great blog, could just use to formatting improvements to make it easier on the eyes for weekly use.

I can change the colors. I'll come up with a color code for each store in next week's edition. And if other sales break or I find other sales, I'll make additional, smaller entries.

Oh, and I'll also start adding deals on blu-ray hardware to the list each week.

Bravo, Quasi. This is a great blog idea. If there's one thing that you could improve, maybe color code each price based on the store it comes from (although I honestly don't know if we can change font colors)?

While Walmart isn't offering anything with the purchase of their players, the regular prices have been lowered again in case you miss a Best Buy deal. Vizio VBR100 is now $168 and Samsung BD-P1590 is $188. Don't go for the Magnavox or Igsignia. Spend the $30-$50 extra for a quality player. Or just wait for Black Friday. I bet we'll see some of the good ones for around $120-$130. Maybe, just maybe, Walmart will have the Vizio for $99. I'm thinking it will be.

I preordered the Snow White BD Combo last night and got the $10 off on Amazon. I also plan on picking up Monsters vs. Aliens this week at Walmart. I picked up Wall-e a couple days ago.
