The lights are on

Well, here I am with what may be the last of the ten questions blogs. Maybe they'll continue, maybe they'll take a break for a year or so, and maybe they'll be gone forever. Who knows? All I know is that here I am, and here I'll regale you all with tales of wonder as I discuss things like being broke whilst assembling unit forces to take down evil. You're welcome.
1. You have to make a new Avengers. Assemble a group with video game characters.
Alright, here we are! This is one that I've thought long and hard about, and so will probably make a terrible team. Let's go with: Commander Shepard, Donkey Kong, Chell from Portal, Sergeant Johnson from Halo, Talim from Soul Calibur, and Ness from Earthbound.
2. If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent?
I'd either do something boring like play the guitar or do something stupid. Maybe I'd do both and play Flight of the Conchords.
3. What is your best pickup line and has it ever worked?
Your dad must be a baker, baby, because you've got perfect buns. I'll leave you to figure that out for yourself.
4. What's your favorite restaurant?
It may be Red Robin. I'm a sucker for delicious burgers. Boring? Maybe, but man oh man I love it so much.
5. What game show or reality show would you most want to be on?
The older I get, the better at correctly yelling the right answer to the TV during Jeopardy so there is that. If Who's Line Is It Anyway? was still on that would be it hands down. I actually went to their tours twice. It's fantastic. Anyway, I imagine it would be The Price Is Right. That show is still awesome.
6. If you play online, what is your role within the group?
When I play online, it's generally just one of my friends and I with strangers and we have party chat on. So I rarely step up to take a defined role. I also pretty much only play Halo online. I'm more of the light support and vehicle killer really. I've been one of the best Warthog drivers since my prime in Halo 2, so that's always what I try to do. If there's none available, I'll generally stick to light vehicles or remain on foot with a mid range and a support weapon (right now a DMR + something else). If there's a grenade launcher anywhere it's mine. Wow this is long and boring moving on!
7. How big is your gaming television?
It's somewhere between 27 and 34 inches. It's our only television. We live on student loans right now.
8. If you could make any invention a reality, what would you make?
A teleporter. It would be so nice to get anywhere instantly. I could have a Star Trek pad in our basement!
9. Which "next gen" console are you most excited for?
I'm going to surprise a lot of people and say the Wii-U. That's right. I imagine the next Xbox and Playstation will be exactly what we have now with improved graphics, and honestly that doesn't excite me. I've never had a single graphics complaint since I started playing the Atari. Nintendo, however, has always pushed the gaming boundaries and I'm super excited to see how their ideas come into play in this coming generation.
10. When was the last time you went to the dentist?
I had my wisdom teeth out in...2001? Anyway. Fast forward to when I was 20 (five years ago) and I found out I had a fifth one coming in that was half developed (I know...freak!). So a couple years later and I went to the dentist to have it taken out a month or two before I got married at 22. And I haven't visited a dentist since. Cool story huh?
Anyway, there you go! Hope you enjoyed it, and I apologize for the lack of pictures but I'm in a bit of a rush this morning. Have a great Sunday everyone and go Falcons!
1 - Gordon Freeman, Samus, Pikachu, Giant Clank, Kratos, Princess Peach, The Overlord, and Prince Fluff.
3 - "How'd you like to see what real disappointment feels like?"
9 - Wii U. I'm guessing the PS4ish will be quite costly, but that's my second choice.
10 - 2009?
