When I woke up this morning, I was expecting an average day. I was going to get on the computer, read up on some news, check my Twitter feed, etc. What I wasn't expecting, however, was this comment from Gamebeast23456's alternate, joke account, MrayFan.

"Good job You got selected because your awesome!"

Being that I just woke up, I had no idea what he meant by that. That's when I checked Gameinformer.com to find this neat little article.

Along with Apozem, blaze6106, born4this, Hist, Oni no Tenshi, o_JMan24O_o, and Saint, I was picked as one of GIO's "Elite Eight". (which is now the Tremendous Ten, with TOGNick and Demon Ragnarok, and more to come.)

This article literally had me shaking from excitement. I was shocked, amazed, and honored that Game Informer's staff would think of me as one of their top 8 bloggers.

I just wanted to say thank you, Game Informer. It really means a lot that you'd think of me, some random dude on the internet, as one of your top community members. I'm truly honored, and you have my sincerest thanks.

I'm obligated to have at least one thing relating to FiM in my blogs from now on.

I've been a member on this site for... about fifteen months, and it's easily one of my favorites. Not only is the official content great, but the community, forums and blogs are all amazing, and something I'm proud to be apart of. Anyone reading this blog, whether you're a member of GIO or apart of Game Informer staff, keep up the good work. You guys are awesome, every one of you.

And since you guys are still looking for members to add to the list of featured bloggers, I'd like to nominate Gamebeast23456. Edit: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Congrats Gamebeast!

By the way, sorry this blog was so short, I just felt the need to give my thanks to the GI staff, to the GIO community, and to Game Informer as a whole. This site is just... awesome.

Because this song is just so darn catchy and somewhat relevant.

Heck, I'll even write my own lyrics based on that song. Feel fre to sing it at home!

I love the website, I love the magazine.

I love the Replays, I love the Quick 15.

I love GIO, so many things to see.

Boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada.

I love the stories, I love all the podcasts.

I love the users, I love the whole staff.

I love GIO, no place I'd rather be.

Boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada.

I love the features, I love the videos.

I love the forums, but what I love the most,

Is the community, and being part of it.

Boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada, boom-di-ada. (X3)

(Yes I was bored.)
