With only a couple of weeks left before it's release, New Super Mario Bros. Wii's retail performance is something that many people will be keeping an eye on this holiday season. Specially Shigeru Miyamoto. While presenting the game at a trade event held in Japan, Nintendo’s mastermind said he was very confident in the newest addition to the Mario franchise. According to Andriasang, Mr. Miyamoto believes, “It’s a Mario that will continue selling even after one year has passed.” Given the addictive nature of original New Super Mario Bros. for the DS, I wouldn't really be surprised if this did become a blockbuster hit like Wii Fit did. I know I'll deffenitely be buying this one this holiday season.
