While he didn't "exactly" confirm it, executive producer Mark Darrah, gave an answer in a recent
interview with GameShark that suggests that the sequel to the much anticipated Dragon Age: Origins will have a similar save game carry-over option as the one Bioware is implementing between it's Mass Affect trilogy.

"We’re not really talking about that at the moment, but yeah, certainly this is a world that is going to continue to evolve and we’d like for the choices that you make to impact that," Darrah said when asked if choices will carry over similar to the way Bioware is planning for Mass Affect when the inevitable sequel finally hits store shelves.

Darrah also went on to say that Bioware has big plans for Dragon Age. Everything from boardgames and pan-and-paper RPG's, to books and cardgames. But if the actual game is anything like what we've seen, than I have a feeling I'm going into hibernation again once the game comes out.
