First person shooters have traced back to 1973-1974 when games like Maze War and Spasim were released. Ever since then, the genre have been one of the most successful genres. From Wolfenstein 3D, to Doom, to Half life, to even Halo and Call of Duty. So, I decided, with the help of a GI memeber(TheSniper), I had created 2 list. This of course being FPS. Now to be fair, since I own a PS3, I figured I classify the list as the best PS3 FPS. Lets get started by our honorable mention.

Honorable mention:

Crysis 2

Crysis 2 was the first game I played of the series, and I really enjoyed the game. From outstanding graphics, to the great score, to the really fun gameplay, this was a fun game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

MW3 was, in my opinon, a great way to end the Modern warfare story, and great time to stop. The story was good(kind of), graphics are improving, and fun gameplay/multiplayer made this an nominee on my list. Just came up short.

To the top 10 now

10. Killzone 3

After playing Killzone 2, I couldn't wait for the sequel. Whenever they announced it, I was so excited. It might not have the greatest story, but its just a great game. If the graphics don't catch you eye, then the gameplay will cause it's just so much fun. It even has a great multiplayer. What's not to love when you can brutally melee someone on singleplayer, and do it again in mulitplayer. In my opnion best of the series, and is number 10 on my list.

9. Crysis 3

As a Crysis fan, I couldn't wait for Crysis 3. Crysis 2 blew me away with the graphics and fun gameplay, and I can say, Crysis 3 does it way better. This might be the end of the series, and if it is, it went out on a bang. The graphics are some of the best this generation, and the story isn't sufficated, but it's pretty cool. Plus, you get a crossbow. Who doesn't like crossbows?  That's why Crysis 3 is number 9 on my list.

8. Call of Duty Black ops

At first, I was nervous about this game because it was being made by treyarch. Nothing wrong with treyarch, but World at war was ok. They proved me wrong. Black ops told a dark tale that I was hooked. It was very intriging and surprising at some points. Plus, with a improvement in graphics(little), and fun multiplayer, Black ops is one of my favorites of 2010. That's why Black ops is number 8 on my list.

7. Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is a great game. Now the story does kind of boring and not good, but the multplayer makes up for it. Plus with beautiful graphics, it was a must buy. The multiplayer of Battlefield 3 is one of the best I've ever played. With a little baggae and great multiplayer/graphics, Battlefied 3 is number 7 on my list.

6. Battlefield: Bad company 2

I remember when I rented Battlefield Bad company 2. I remeber going into a store called movie galley, and the game caught my eye. I rented it, and about 4 days, I returned it, and bought it. It was so much fun. You can say it does what battlefield did(or you could switch that around), except it actually has a pretty good story. Bad company 2 layed out the graphics and multiplayer for Battlefield 3 to improve, but with a better story then Battlefield 3, it's number 6 on my list.

5. Far cry 3

I think we can all say, Far cry 3 was a huge surprise. I really wanted to rent it to explore the enviroment and hunt animals, but there's alot more important things to do. With top notch graphics, dark story, and plenty of gameplay, Far Cry 3 is a must buy for anyone looking for a great jungle adventure. Truely a shocker. That's why Far cry 3 is number 5 on my list.

We're getting there. Now my number 4 pick.

4. Call of Duty Black ops 2

Before you leave because I had this up so high, hear me out. Like many of you, when I heard the next call of duty would be a black ops 2 in the future, I said and I quote,"This is going to be a train wreck." Surprisingly though, I thought it was great. The graphics keep on improving, and are now looking pretty good. With the fun story having alot of replay value, and the multiplaayer is a absolute blast, you'll be hooked on this game. That's why Black ops 2 is number 4 on my list.

3. Borderlands 2

As much fun that I had with the original Borderlands, I was kind of disappointed with it. It was really fun, but it could've been so much better. Borderlands 2 was the game I was hoping for. It didn't beat  it predesscor barely. It improves everything a million times better then the original. Graphics are more colorful, the dialogue is hilarious, and it's so much fun. In my opinon, it's one of the best, if not the best co-op shooter out there. That's why Borderlands 2 is number 3.

These last 2 was hard to decide, but here they are.

2. Call of Duty Modern Warfare

This is the best Call of Duty game ever made. At the time, this put Call of Duty on the map. From a great story, to fun gameplay, this was such a good game. One of my all time favorites, it's just such a good blend of story and gameplay. Only if the other call of dutys had the stories lie Modern warfare. Usually sequels are better, but here the original rules. That's why Modern warfare came up close to being my number 1 FPS, but fell short. Truely a remarkable game that's number 2 on my list.

You're probably thinking what's number 1? Well, I'll give you a hint. It came out this year, and begins with the letter B.

1. Bioshock Infinite

I had never been a fan of the series, and I knew that after the scores coming out of this game that I had to get it. I'm really happy I did because it's one of the greatest games of all-time. With pretty graphics, fun gameplay, and a dark addicting story, it will be hard to put the controller down. This is truely a special game, and is my favorite first person shooter.

Man, was that tiring. Well, there you have it. My top 10 PS3 FPS. What do you think? Agree? Disagree? Did I forget a game? I hoped you enjoyed this blog, and my top PS3 TPS will be up soon. Don't know when. Thanks again for reading and commenting. That's all folks!
