Official "List of Grievances Against Activision" Thread

What do you hate/dislike about Activision?  I'll start.

--> Starcraft 2: In Starcraft 1, all three campaigns for the Terrans, Zerg, and Protoss were available in one package for one full retail price.  In Starcraft 2, each campaign (not all three campaigns like Starcraft 1 or even the RTS Warcraft games) will be available for full retail price.  They will be respectively "Wings of Liberty", "Heart of the Swarm", and "Legacy of the Void."  That doesn't figure DLC either!!!  All three races will be playable in multiplayer modes, but then again, it's Activision.

--> Bobby Kotick is the CEO.  He is a bloodthirsty giant who once proclaimed that if it was up to him, he would raise the prices for video games.  I'm not going to listen to garbage like that from people who have not even touched a controller.  He even wanted to take the fun out of making video games.  http://kotaku.com/5359567/bobby-kotick-wanted-to-take-all-the-fun-out-of-making-video-games

--> Bobby Kotick is not the only guilty party within Activision for wanting to suck the blood out of poor and unfortunate gamers.  Seems CFO Thomas Tippl wants to integrate World of Warcraft-style pay-to-play systems into their other games, such as Call of Duty.  http://www.bravenewgamer.com/2009/11/activision-wants-you-to-pay-to-play-call-of-duty/

--> Not really a grievance: Activision passed on publishing Ghostbusters: The Video Game because Harold Ramis was not willing to make sequels to the game.  Fans posted petitions demanding Activision to release the game.  http://www.gb.fans.com/game-petition/ Atari published it instead and went on to sell over one million copies between mid-June and mid-July of 2009.  I still own that game and currently am working on the multiplayer achievements.  Thank goodness I only need an Xbox Gold membership for this!  See bullet #3.

It's crap like this that made me give away all of my Guitar Hero games and peripherals so I don't get addicted to their junk again.  Also, Call of Duty: Moden Warfare 2 became my final purchase from the publisher.  I've since severed ties to anything with the Activision logo on any game.
