Rob admits it for each time the scenes in getting hot for Edward and Bella, especially to that Bella and Edward’s highly anticipated wedding scene gets overshadowed by Jacob’s eternal obsession with Bella. But it doesn’t end there, Rob says even when Bella is sick, Jacob still comes to try and woo Bella — but he doesn’t stand up to him.

“I’m sitting next to you [Kristen] and I’m like, ‘My wife is dying. I have completely f**ked my life up and hers,’ and Jacob’s like (to Bella), ‘Hey, baby, you don’t look too bad to me,’” Rob says. “And I’m just sitting there, like, with a bucket collecting (Bella’s) vomit.”

Rob finds Edward to be frustrating, almost “funny” with how he just allows Jacob to walk all over him — even at his own wedding!

“That was one of the funniest things as well, leading Bella (out to dance with Jacob),” Rob says. “Edward is an incredibly strange character, the more I think about it. That was one of those things that I had absolutely no idea how to play.”

But Rob reveals why Edward might be letting Jacob think he has Bella’s heart.

“Edward has a lot more foresight than the average person, which is one of the most heroic things about him,” Rob says. “He also knows he’s going to turn her into a vampire, so it’s like, “You’re going to be screwed in a couple of weeks, buddy! Try and hit on her all you want!”
