Hello friends, family, fools, and fiddadlers and welcome to another episode of our humble podcast. This week we are pleased to present to you our magnificent guest, the lead writer on Spec Ops: The Line and other 2K published games, Walt Williams! It is a fascinating episode that anyone should definitely listen to that is interested in getting into game design or game writing. Walt proved to be a natural at the interviewing business. He tells us all about what it’s like to write games for a living, his role in Spec Ops: The Line, how the game changed throughout development and how he got into writing games for a living.
So… funny story. We meant to have our guest on last week but Daniel switched up the times since he had just moved to the west coast and was still on east coast time. Well it worked out because Walt admitted to us this week that he had completely forgotten about his scheduled appearance on our show until Daniel emailed him to apologize for missing the appointment. The important thing is that Walt was able to reschedule and come on the show and make us look good. We loved having him on!
Again, if you haven’t joined Team GIO to raise money for Extra-life, then you’re missing out on a very fun event. However, there is still time to make a difference by joining the team and the rest of the community this Saturday to raise money for sick children. We have raised our goal to $8,888 and still have a ways to go to reach it. Help us do this! And remember, if helping kids isn't your thing, there are literally tons of great prizes to win by joining and donating as well as participating in the community streaming/gaming events (here is a hint, you should try to tune in or play with either Mojomonkey_12, Noobtubin8er, or myself).
As usual, you can listen to our show on iTunes (where you could be really nice and review or rate us), on PodOmatic, or just listen to the entire episode on the player below.

I'm pretty sure that this is the best show I've been on yet!
Oh my gosh, Walt Williams. Thank you so much for having him. Much love!!!!
You're welcome for the late-night watchman thing, haha. I swear it's all honest reporting! I didn't know your phone would wake you up at 3 in the morning :P I hadn't really thought about how that reporting would manifest itself on the other end.
That really was an outstanding episode, guys. Sorry it took so long for me to get around to listening, but it was well worth the wait.
