Definitely gotta catch the home town hero in the 30 for 30 doc.Though I have to say I cant understand the hate for American Pie, they are very good movies with great fun music that fits the mood.American pie movies are todays version of Porkys, good fun.( well the theatrical releases any way, the first three, the straight to dvd spin offs were ok at best they had their moments). I heard Cop Out was decent too so Ill take the advice of someone who tends to like the same kind of movies that I do.All the others you reviewed I do agree on though.Except for perfect blue I havent seen it.

The live action movie has no blood, no violence and no nudity/sexual situations. The film is too clean. It was meant to be dirty and gritty with a veneer of beauty.

If given at the right hands though I think Perfect Blue would have been a pretty good live action film. I looked that version up though and I might give it a shot someday.

I honestly dont understand you for your opinion of Cop Out. I saw it with my friends and we thought it was hilarious, and everyone ive talked to feels the same. You do know it is a comedy right?

First, I have to give you huge props for mentioning Perfect Blue, as it is one of my favorite movies of all time. Then, I have to berate you for not doing enough research. There is a live action version of Perfect Blue. It is not good, and it proves that anime is the only medium that this movie makes sense as.

Whenever I think that I'm such a film geek who knows about every movie, I always go to your blog to find about more than 10 of them that I've never heard of, at all, and makes me feel sad.

Still though, I don't mind the art-house.

For the record, i saw Knocked Up again yesterday, just way too lazy to write something about it. If it was on here I think it would have been my 3rd or 4th favorite movie on the list.

What's popular/unpopular isn't necessary. What matters is if it's good or not.
