Recently, I found out that the upcoming Batman: Arkham City would be the last time that legendary Mark Hamill would be voicing the Clown Prince of Crime.  Many of you may know Hamill's voice as The Joker from Batman: The Animated Series (which I consider to be the best Batman animated series ever) and several spin-off series.  Ever since 1992, Hamill has voiced him from the animated series, the animated films based on the series, and in 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum.

For many, including myself, Hamill's voice has become THE voice of the Joker, along with many characters from the animated series, including Kevin Conroy as Batman and Loren Lester as Robin.  Even when I reread comics like The Killing Joke, in my head I try to speak as Hamill does.  Mark Hamill did such a great job at it that I consider him to be the defining Joker experience, better than Nicholson, Richardson, or even Ledger.  Even John DiMaggio's performance in Under the Red Hood couldn't compare, even though I think that was what he was aiming for.

For this reason, I thought it would be fitting to post a blog about Mark Hamill's time as The Joker and to let other members of GIO say what they think about the iconic Joker.
