Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura is an open-ended open world RPG game, which was developed by Troika Games and released by Sierra in August 2001. It has a diablo-style camera angle. The gameplay includes fighting off a variety of enemies, from common bandits to foul creatures, demons and even the undead; casting spells, both offensive and defensive; inventing new items; talking to other people; and what's most important, traveling around in the massive world that's built into this game. The story of Arcanum is put together excellently. And also, the soundtrack is just perfect. You can hear a sample music in a video coming up in this blog.

I am going to put this review of a fantastic game into many pages, so you'll have lots to read. I will break up into long pieces the following parts of the game: Story, Gameplay, World, Combat, Creating a character, Magic, Technology, Karma and Soundtrack. So once it's done(I am not going to edit what I am currently writing here), you're gonna see a blog in length of 9 to 10 pages. It's also like a FAQ, but I just love the game so much, I need to do this, I need to show others, what they might have missed. And I'm not gonna use any walkthroughs to get additional information, it's all here, in my head. I've played the game for more than 500 hours.
