What's Happening

The MOST overrated games.

So many games out there are considered really, really good. Not everyone like Halo or even Call of Duty. I have purchased games that had high critical acclaim and was just bored. So I will begin my list, and I know I will get tons of hate comments, but its my opinion, and I more than likely won't lose sleep if you hate me because of these games being on my list. So here I go, let the bashing begin.

Left 4 Dead- Ok, I already posted enough to warrant tons of hate mail, but the game just wasn't as amazing as everyone says. Lack of weapon variety, a story DLC, stat tracking or even leveling system like Call of Duty coulnd't keep me hooked and wanting to play when I got home from school or work. And I'm not saying its a bad game, it just didn't have that replay value like other games I like enjoy playing.

metacritic rating- 89 my rating- 75

Gears of War 1&2- So I really wanted to love this game, my little brother loved it, my best friend loved it, and I always have had a thing for third person games (Looking at you GTA; Ratchet and Clank; Conflict: Desert Storm 2; Battlefront) and I really thought I would be instantly hooked. But I wasn't. It had cool themes and stuff like the cover system and blindfiring, but it just wasn't my game. The dialogue was more wooden than Pinocchio after seeing a Megan Fox centerfold. Overall, it just wan't my type of game, and I never really finished it.

metacritic rating-I can't find the rating for some reason. my rating- n/a

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind- This is a game that almost everyone loves, and I hated it. I thought the premise was awesome and the graphics looked great, until I started fighting. The combat system was completely broken for me. Seriously, how did I just attack a guy from behind with a sword only to get beaten up and killed! It was this experience that made me literally throw down my controller in rage. I just could not get into this game at all, and for that I am sorry.

metacritic rating- 89 My rating- 50

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimiore of the Rift- I really wanted to love this game. Disgaea was awesome, and this should have been more of the same. But all I really got was a confusing mess that allowed for small bits of customization. The storyline was generally uninteresting, even though the characters were. Maybe because I had never played a Final Fantasy game before, and had no idea what the F&#k a Chococobo was, but i couldn't love this game like I wanted to.

metacritic score- 80 my score- 68

Super Paper Mario- I love mario to death, but this game was annoying. I loved the idea of switching from 2-D to 3-D, but it was so annoying constantly switching to Mario to change dimensions, and finding hidden doors in the city. I would probaly adore this game if it wasn't for that, but the clever dialogue and cool RPG system couldn't mask the fact that I spent 10 extra minutes a level searching for the stupid F&#king door.

metacritc score- 85 my score- 73

Chrono Trigger- Don't kill me, I'm kidding this game is awesome.
