i play on the web site and play a browser game that I won't name. I also have been with the web site for over seven years and have always enjoyed the company and recomended it to others. Now this company decided to ban my account for no apparent reason at all. It took me five days to get my account reinstated and they admitted that the ban was unjust. I paid for a service in the game that gives me perks. This service last for 30 days, and I requested that they extend the service for the days my account was banned. They refused, meaning I paid for something that I did not receive. To me this is a rip off from the company treating a long standing member of their community like a piece of trash. what do you the gaming community think? is is wrong? should I file a fraud claim against the company?

my 1st final fantasy xiv blog

So here I am a couple of weeks into the game and so far I have not been that impressed with it. The lack of quests is unforgivable for a game of this caliber. There is only one storyline quest that you can only access when achieving certain levels which is ridiculous. All the other quests are just repeated quests throughout. This is absurd, thhis lack of questing options leaves everything to just grind grind grind, which is the number one cause of MMO failures. Than to top it off the quests refresh themselves over time and you can only do 8 per day!!! C'mon, another just stupid idea. If changes are not made to the game in the near future this game will go down as a complete failure such as another EA backed game from a few years back, WAR. This game was supposed to take the best of XI and add new falvor to it, but from what I have seen it fails to do so. Add in the fact that to make equipment and weapons you basically have to grind each and every skill leaving every single person in the game the same without any sense of uniqueness. The premise of being able to be a multicrafter is a great idea, however it fails with no auction house, and the fact that to make recipes you need ingredients from other crafting fields So, without auction houses and a decent market area a person has no choice but to take on other fields just to make items that they need for other fields, leaving no sense of uniqueness or individuality at all.

This is the first his name is Galenth Dysley and by the looks he may be one of the leaders of the sanctum faction. He also appears to be dressed in a religious type of fashion such as the Pope would where.

The second is Captain Rygdea. He is a younger looking character and is possibly one of the main enemies that we will encounter throughout the game. Possibly being the front man for the Sanctum he would be the one to face off against when making progress to the central leaders.

Well there they are the two newest opposition characters that we will be facing off with in XIII, until next time I bid ye adieu.

My top 10 RPG's of All Time

Okay, I've been seeing lately everybody getting into this top ten games thing. So, I decided since my favorite genre happens to be RPG's, that I would make my own top 10 list of nothing but RPG games. This is my top ten list, in my own opinion, if you think differently don't be a hater, simply add your suggestions and reasons why, as I'm always open to other people's opinions.

Numero Uno :

Panzer Dragoon Saga. This game was produced with limited quantites due to various reasons that I will not go one about, and it is *** shame that it was. I happened upon the game years ago and became simply obsessed with it. The battle system was far ahead of it's time, as were the visuals and the story. I still have my original copy of this game and will load it up on my Saturn just to refelect on how well this game has maintained it's charm years after it's release. This game aged very well, and should have more respect in the gaming community. I hope that someday that someone will remake it and release it as a download either through PSN or X-Box Live, but so far that has been nothing but wishful thinking.

2.

Number two on my list is Final Fantasy VIII. My reason for this is simple I was hooked from the very beginning and spent many a day playing every aspect of this game. I was transfixed, the story line was very well written and played oout like an incredible dramatic movie. The battle system was great, even though a little slow, I still loved it. The summons were cinematic, and the ending was one of the best I have ever seen in any game, ever. This game to me defines what a true RPG is and it delivered at a very high level.

3.

Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion makes it on my list as number three. This game had it all, fantastci open world, a sense of exploration, and incredible graphics. The story line was not one of the best in my opinion, but the other aspects of this game were just simply amazing.

4.

Number four on my list is Final Fantasy X. This game was amazing from start to end. The storyline got me from the very start and I found myself wondering WTF is going to happen next. The ending was the best ending of any game ever made, in my opinion. This was the first and only, well so far only, game that actually made me shed a tear. Hey at least I'm man enough to admit it! The battle system was by far one of the easiest to learn, and the arae of customization was outstanding. And plus I loved playing blitzball, one of my fav side activities of any game thus far in the Final Fantasy series.

5.

Number five on my list is Chrono Trigger. This game defined the genre RPG back with it's initial release in 1995. I spent many upon many hours with this game trying to complete every side mission that it had to offer, and I can honestly say that I probably put in close to 200 hours on this game, or more. The story line was great as was the battles system at such an early age of RPG's. This game is a must have for any gamer that wants a sense of nostalgia.

6.

Number 6 on my list is Dark Cloud, this game was the most flexible of any RPG that I have ever played. The customization of weapons was a very great idea that I loved. And the fact trhat you can customize the towns to your own liking and appeal, simply epic. The battles in the game were sub par compared to the rest of my games on my list, but thanks to it's originality with the customization, it has become one of my favorite RPG's of all time. Here's hoping that they release a Dark Cloud 3 in the future.

7.

Number seven on my list just happens to be FFVII. Who can say that they didn't like the storyline in this game? I have never met anyone that has said this, this game's storyline is what makes it upon my list. I wasn't a fan of the battle system in this game as it didn't appeal to me very much, but the shear detail of the story is what sets this game apart from any other in it's class.

8.

Number eight on my list is Dragon Quest VIII. This game was a brilliant masterpiece of artwork and story telling in my opinion. I found the story very amusing, and the battle system used was very easy to learn. And for a < spoiler alert > it had a WTF moment when you thought the game was over only to find out that there was a lot more left to accomplish. This was very cinematic in it's own rights.

9.

Number 9 on my list is Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. This game's battle system is what made it to my list, the combat system was just freakin remarkable. This is what set this game apart from the rest, the simple combo system in real time battle was well executed throughout the game. The story was kind of lacking in quality, but with a battle system like this it far than made up for it. In fact, FFXIII's battle system looks very very like that of Star Ocean's, hmmmmm...

10.

Number ten on my list is Valkyrie Profile. This game had one of the hardest boss fights of any game that I have ever played. Top that with a great storyline, and a decent battle system and you get one heck of a game.

Well that's my top 10 list, remember MY TOP TEN list, of RPG's of all time. Just a side note some honorable mentions are, FF Tactics, Xenosaga, FF XII, Secret of Mana, and Tales of Symphonia.

FFXIII Team Nora

Here is a sampling of some newer final fantasy XIII characters that have yet to be anoounced officially here in the United States. They are playable characters in Japan and confirmed over there. This group of three people are part of Snow's group, and thus far their role in the story has yet to be revealed. Here are the pictures and names of these three characters.

The first one as you can tell is named Gadou, which is the Japanese to English translation, the name over here is still yet to be determined.

This next one is named Marquis, and appears to be a little boy, but don't let that fool you, he could be one of the better characters of the game, only timne will tell though.

The last character of the group is named Rebro, again another translation. Is it me or does she kinda, maybe, look a little like Tifa? Just a thought. Well anyways this is Snow's group, whom I believ play a big role in the beginning of the story, not sure if they will be playable throughout the entire game yet.

Two new charcters for FFXIII released

The first one is Sarah Farron, she apparentky is Lightning's younger sister as well as being Snow's fiancee. Plot twist? You can say that again.

This was the only image I could find of her, looking like the quiet innocent type. She probably will be a force to reckon with.

The next charcter is Fang. Yet another female character, guess we're going to have more of a feminine vive with this game. Not much info has been released for her as of yet, she is just listed as a mysterious figure working for the military, yet bearing the markings of a detested sect know as the l'cie.

March 9th, can I get a hell yeah?!? FFXIII is looking as awesome as ever, and from the video the combat looks to be very intense with numerous combos for us to master. The combat kind of reminded me from another rpg that I played awhile ago, Star Ocean: Till the end of Time, and guess what that game was also made by Square Enix. The combat system in that game was hard as well as easy to master once you figured out the basics and I think XIII's combat system will be very similiar to this. As far as the new theme song is concerned, that caught me by surprise a little, as I have never seen two theme songs for a Final Fantasy game before, but the new one for Europe and NA is an awesome choice. Well that's all I have for now, catch ya later.

The official countdown to FFXIII news announcement

For those of you who had viewed my previous blog about the FFXIII announcement, they have now installed a countdown clock on the official website for when the news will be released. The game is just amazing. I thought that one commercial withg the gf thinking the game was a movie was a little overboard, but I was wrong. My wife will only let me play when she is around so she can see the action and what's going on, so playtime has been limited thus far.

My first blog post

A day without the children and the wife, does not happen very often and I am sitting back enjoying the peace and quiet while delibirating which new game that I should be getting. It's down to a choice of three Uncharted, Tekken 6, and Dragon Age Origins. As a gamer that plays all genres it is not an easy choice, will blog back with my selection at a later time. Later all.
