So this Saturday going to a Royal Bliss concert in Utah at Club Vegas, I really enjoy their music and well they have a band with them I haven't heard of so went and checked them out. My friend had the music on his PC and was playing some and I was like wow they are pretty good.

So searched The American Hitmen, and they are 4 Marines who meet each other in Iraq in 2004, and went on to creat this band. I think that is great for them to serve our country in the first place, that takes a brave person and someone with heart to go out in the face of death to serve your country. Providing everyone at home the freedoms that we are all use to. So that is great that they could find each other and able to go create some wonderful music, I think they are a great band to check out.

Wow I wish I would have figured out it was april fools today before freaking out and hiding under a bed. Imagine reading blog after blog today, and going wow this is crazy.

OMG this is so great to find out, oh but just a joke, talk about another over hyped joke to suck me in. I really was hoping ot have a great new experience for my ipad that is coming, I know my girlfriends are all happy of the ipads coming out, they can't wait to see how this will help them.

So after all this I was going to go kill some people on Modern Warfare 2, and than to find out it is down, like really my day couldn't get any worse. But than it hit me, it is April fools day. Thank goodness for it all being a joke. Glad to know that I can go play Modern Warfare, and can't wait for the E3 when all Sony fans find out Master Chief is coming to the PS3, yeah not HALO coming but just Master Chief in his new series God of War vs Master Chief, the battle is on!!!!!

My Favorite character in a book

Raistlin Majere is a Mage in many of the Dragonlance novels written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, my first book I read from Dragonlance was the start of the Chronicles, Dragons of Autumn Twilight, I was hooked after that and kept reading more of these books.

He was a Dark Mage, and throught the books follows the heroes of the lance, but as he says in Dragons of Winter night to Laurana "I do not follow Tanis. We are merely traveling in the same direction... for the time being." He was a very saracastic character and was fun to follow through all his adventures. He went from a mage to killing a god in the books, the Dragonlance books are great anyways, but he sure does add to a great character in the books.

Another great thing was since he was frail, he had a heart for others that were treated poorly because of weakness, it adds great times with another great character in the books Tasselhoff. If you haven't read these books you should really check them out, I know they are older but they are worth the read.

Micheal Jackson video game in the works?

So I was reading today about games, and it looks like we could have a Michael Jackson video game coming, since it is Sony who bought this I would think we will see it as a PS3 exclusive. I would like to see something like MJ Moonwalker game, it is said MJ was working on a video game, could this be it? I do think if we see a MJ game it should be groundbreaking because MJ usually equals groundbreaking videos, music or whatever he worked on was something special.

What do others think this game could be? Could in be something like Moonwalker, or a dance game. Only time will tell if this game will be good but I am excited to see what it could be.

Netflix on PS3, how nice!!!

So I got my disc today, and it really is amazing. You get a code after putting your disc in and enter it at netflix website, once you enter it is connected and you are ready to start streaming your movies on to the PS3. You can choose from the PS3 the movies you want in your queue or even just play straight from there. But you can also add movies to the queue from the website also. So it provides you options, so I can be at work choose the movies I want to watch that night and if I feel different once I get home I can just switch it up on the PS3 anyways. You only get 100 options in each category, but if you rate the movies it will attempt to put ones that you may like, so you may have to go on the website too choose ones that don't show up on the PS3. But you can just use the web browser on the PS3 if you have too and go too netflix on there.

The movies stream well, and look nice. You don't have a long time to wait for it too stream onto the PS3. So anyone else gets this shall really enjoy this.

For those worried about the disc, well it says on the disc you get that this is only for a little bit that it will be added to the XMB in 2010 later on. Also so you know you can use the disc on more than one PS3 and also order more discs if needed. Hopefully with the news that Best Buy is getting into the action and adding a service like netflix and blockbuster and also Apple adding news that they will have 30 dollar service and rumors are that you can get any TV show or movie once this is provided that netflix will get more TV shows and movies added than they already have. But really this isn't so bad, yeah you have to use a disc but not like you are playing a game while you are watching a movie, so I don't find this is a issue, but in 2010 we will see this added to the XMB so until than, I will live with the disc.

Also another note, PS3 America is getting Vidzone which is a music video app in Europe right now, and that is also good news. All these new features coming to PS3 is a nice deal, and it only keeps getting better. I mean heck the PS3 really does EVERYTHING!!! LOL

NY Yankees won the world series!!!!

It was so great last night to watch that game and see them win, it has been awhile since we have seen them in the World Series. This now is my 2nd team this year to win, I am also a fan of the Lakers and so now if my NFL team (49ers) wins the Superbowl that would be 3 of my favorite teams to win. I don't see it happening but it would be amazing!!!!

Racism in games?

I know this may be a touchy subject to have but I have noticied this for awhile now, and it is video games are racist. Now I will say I am not African American, but it is something I have noticied. Now yes there are african americans in games, but I am talking about a African American hero in a game, not just a side kick or game that you have multiple characters and one is African American. I do know of a few, like the one with Samuel Jackson as the Samurai or CJ from GTA but really there is a few in a world of white main characters, now yeah we have went far with adding female leads but now we need to add some other races. Now yeah I am not saying I am not going to play games from now on, but I think that game companies need to take a look into this. I don't want them to go throw a character together just to be political correct, but why haven't we seen some more characters of different races.

For I would like to see some more effort into adding some better character thought into games and provide a difference. Also I have a feeling that because of this it really does cut people from playing games because they don't have a lot of characters that relate to them. The main character usually shoudl relate to the player and so they feel a connection, and games have been really forgetting other races.

Now this is just some thoughts, you may agree or disagree with me on this. But for some of us wanting to get into making video games, or writers, maybe if we think about this we can now make a change for the better. I am not wanting to say we need every type of character out there, but it wouldn't be bad to add some variety to the hero characters and provide characters to all gamers to relate to.

I have been reading some comments about the PSN and they have me baffled, I am assuming people didn't know everything about the PSN. Seeing comments about PSN not having facebook or twitter, and guess what? It does, not just that but a actual Internet Browser. Dragon Age for PS3

Great new for PS3 owners worried they were going to miss out on the fun of Dragon Age while PC and xbox 360 users got it before us, well today it was said that PS3 will be getting it now on the same day. There was some technical problems before and it was going to be delayed but they got it fixed and it will be released now the same day. I was going to get for PC but now this may be a reason to get it for the PS3.

Greatest NEWS EVER!!!

There’s a new Star Wars Trilogy in the pipeline that is going to be filmed in stereoscopic 3D (Avatar technology). This new 3D Star Wars would NOT be a conversion of the existing trilogy or prequels, but rather an entirely new three-part chapter in the Star Wars canon!

Another part of the rumor was that George Lucas would NOT be directing this new trilogy, but would instead produce them, handing the helming duties off to more able other seasoned directors, such as Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola, who are both friends of Lucas.

Well if this is true I am extremely excited, and George Lucas allowing someone else to direct his movies, well that is great also, either Steven Spielberg or Francis Ford Coppola would be interesting ideas.

Can we see more Villians in Video games?

I love playing games and playing as the hero, but I would like to see some games that allow you to be a villian. Yeah there are some games out there, but some of these put a twist so you are not a true villian, always some good reason. Like the GTA games, yeah you are bad guy but you always have a good reason. You are not doing it just because you want to rule the world, why can't we play as someone like the Joker, someone who just wants to destroy the world.

Like in infamous, yeah you can be a bad guy but also you have too do good things to get through the game, why not allow me to be a complete villian? Or be a assassin that is a villian? In RPG's like oblivion they allow you to be in the thief guild and assassins guild, yeah that is cool and all but how about being a Dark Knight or Dark Wizard?

In the new Star Wars game, you are Darth Vaders apprentice but you play the game and really it doesn't make you feel like you are truly a villian. Can we please create a game where you can be on the dark side and kill some Jedi's. I am playing a game, I want to go do things I can't do in the real world, and being a villian just sounds like fun.

I know there are some games you can be the villian, like the new DCMMO game coming too the PS3, and other MMO's liek WOW, Heroes and Villians and star wars. But I would really like too see some games that go from the hero quest and give us a good game about a villian, let us go create some chaos in the lame world of happiness.

CAD a great on-line comic

I have been reading this on-line comic for a few years now, this is a great comic for gamers. They have funny characters and tie in video games into the comic very well. If you like comics and video games, this comic is for you. Sometimes it is not all funny but overall the comic is great, I would have to give it a 8.5/10. It is funny when reading it and going wow, me and my friends said the same thing about that game, or yeah I remember when that game came out and I was that excited also. So go check it out you may find a great on-line comic that you will enjoy. The comic updates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and also they have little comics called silly's and those are great also. Also the creators write stuff about games coming out and there opinions of them. You may not agree with everything they say but it is still funny stuff.

Girl Gamers ROCK!!!

I am saying this right now, girl gamer’s rock!!! Their seems to be a lack of girl gamers out there in the world but I swear some of you girls are hiding your love for games, well start being open about it, us gamer guys are sick of lame girls who don't want to play games. We want to see girls who play games, pick up a controller and beat us in Street Fighter or Rainbow Six, we don't want the girl who asks what does X do. This thing plays movies right? (Talking about a PS3) We want someone to push us aside and take over playing a game, so stop hiding your love for games and let us know you love them, because we know they exist.

With Assassins Creed 3, word is a girl will be there, and I think this is great and this will add another great female character that will be added to a great list of other great female characters, I think we need more and also guys out there, let the girls enjoy there games also, stop talking smack about them playing. We want to embrace that girls want to play games, it is a great thing. Yeah it is possible it will take away your time to play but you can always get two TV's and consoles and both enjoy playing.

So can't wait too hear some great comments, and you GO girls, keep on playing games and spread the word to other girls, guys love girl gamers.

Multi-player? Do you always need it?

I love multi-player games like most gamers, love going on-line and playing against others. But I am feeling like now they are putting multi-player games on all games, even when it is not needed or it seems really just thrown in. This really got too me when I heard someone say I wouldn't play Batman because there is no multi-player. Really people not every game has to have it, a game still can be good if it is a single player game.

Not only is there the side of a single player game that throws multi-player on it but also a multi-player game that throws a single player game in. I am fine with a game if it just goes one direction, either go multi-player only or single player. Don't throw them into the game if it isn't well done. Now yeah if you have both in there and they both work well than go ahead, because I love to have both. But I am tired of them throwing in one or the other, I am fine with a single player game or just a multi-player game.

Not sure what others think but it would be cool too hear from others, and what they think.
