Release Date: August 21st, 2012

This was one of the surprise hits for me this year. I never expected the level of detail and non stop action it offered. Full written review can be found here.

I guess this can count as the start of Fall...especially given the fact that I am juggling three titles simultaneously. Just wrapped up Darksiders II, barely getting time in on Guild Wars 2, and now Borderlands 2 is just over the horizon. At least this new capture tech will make all the reviews for those titles look much nicer.

The Man with Many Dogs has also added another entry to his moments series with Resident Evil 4. Ah the memories of that game...what with the running and the screaming and the "hey, Ashley get in the dumpster...no, I know it's gross but there are chainsaws coming".

There was also a fantastic Let's Play - Amnesia: Dark Descent by Sam Reha. Been meaning to get into the Let's Play vids lately, and he does a dual commentary to bring out the lighter side of all the...you know...blood and death and scary stuff.

Maybe it is the coming holiday season, the general positive reception you guys tend to leave on these reviews, or the chicken biscuit I just consumed...but I am in the giving mood. Simply drop a comment below (on the blog, not on the Youtube vid) about anything of your choosing and you will be entered into a random drawing for points on a platform of your choosing. That's 1600 MS Points/ 20 bucks PSN / 20 bucks in Steam Cash / Wii points. Entries will close on Monday, September 24th at 6:00 PM Central Time and the winner will be posted in an update on this blog that night. Keep an eye out on future reviews for other opportunities!

After a total of 18 entrants (less two double posts) the name was randomly selected utilizing a free drawing program tested ahead of time. Congrats to markus1142! Please check your Conversations! Thanks everyone for the solid response, and if you did not win, there is no need to fret! Video reviews are forthcoming for Darksiders II, Borderlands, Resident Evil 6, and more. Keep an eye out for more opportunities soon!
