The lights are on
So, this is probably best reserved for a message board or forum post, BUT I DON'T CARE! I'm far too lazy to sift through the garbage to get to the topic I want. So, I'm gonna post here! Lately, I've felt I need to take a break from these long sessions I'm still having with Fallout 3, and am trying new hobbies. Recently, I have picked up geocaching, a fantastic blend of nerdiness and actually going outside. It's a giant treasure hunt, and every find makes me feel like I've actually accomplished something. In addition, I've started reading a little bit more, and am trying to start working out again. My question is: What do you do outside of gaming? Anything random and interesting I should try? Try to keep suggestions to legal things, please... :) Well, I'm gonna go back to one of my other new, more forced, hobbies: wedding planning!
Something I need to get back into the habbit of doing is running. It's tough to start out, but once you hit your stride it's actually pretty fun, and relaxing.
okay this totally depends on the age but when I was younger I would go play outside. What would I play? I would play my favorite video games... so.... i was young
I take care of my 2 kids under 2 outside of gaming. But before that used to golf a lot, lift weights, run, and drinking copious amounts of alcohol.

I'm a full time father, run an electronics repair shop (TVs, DVDs, computers, washing machines....really just about anything.) and I have three sons and a wife. Gaming is about the only hobby that I have time for, although technically my shop started out as a hobby.
I need to start working out sometime again. Haveent been able to because of school though.
Try car fixing or modding cars.
What's just as good as playing nostalgic games? Mixing your own 8-bit techno. Sure it doesn't really solve the indoors geek atmosphere. But it's as raw as it gets on those rainy days.
If you want a thrill like no other? Buy a dirt bike!
I attend Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class. Great workout, too.
