The lights are on
People have many fears. The dark. Spiders. That old man who is always staring at you from across the street. But I am here to detail the things I'm scared of. Some will surprise you. Others you will laugh at. But most will confuse you. It's okay. You don't have to admit you're scared of them.
1) Antimatter
Supposedly, whenever antimatter touches normal matter, both become annihilated equal to the mass of one antimatter atom. I don't know about anyone else, but being annihilated by the touch of an atom is terrifying, to say the least.
2) Super massive black holes
As if a normal sized black hole wasn't bad enough, one of these had to be found. The biggest recorded one has the equal mass of 18 billion of our suns. Yeah. It is also widely believed that there is at least one in the middle of almost every universe, including our own. Also, at the center of every black hole is the singularity (it shares a title with the upcoming Raven Software game), in which everything is crushed to infinite density, and the pull of gravity is infinitely strong. Terrifying indeed.
I am terrified of spiders. I seriously believe they are the vessels of of the devil.
I am also afraid of losing everyone I know
Bear's, spider's, height's, and drowning. Plus a few i'm not willing to post.
I am super terrified of drowning! I can die any way but drowning!
hey notthevictim do you wanna go swimming with me later? It will be fun :)
Spiders, heights, being inside a building where a roof is really high up, and i'm staring up at it and ovens.
I've always been terrified that the moon will break orbit and come crashing down on Earth. Needless to say, I about pooped my pants when they shot a missile at it. Don't anger the moon, people!
I also figured out recently that I'm somewhat claustrophobic. I was driving through a tunnel in the mountains and I started panicking slightly, but I managed to keep myself together since I didn't want to wreck.
I am afraid of being in a deep dark hole in the ocean
I'm afraid that the world will end in 2012...and spiders
The world is (probably) not going to end in 2012. The Aztec calander doesn't say so, anyway. Me, I am afraid of stuff like tornados. For some reason, they freak me out.
It's amazing how many people are afraid of drowning. And spiders.
@LaurenIsSoMosh
Wow, never thought about that. That's pretty bad. It's like Majora's Mask all over again.
Haha, yeah, that's actually what started it for me. Now every time I think about it, I dunno, I don't get scared but it's not really my favorite thing to think about.
if the moon grew a big nose and red eyes and tried to smash us I would break of the nose and poke it in its eyes.
Yeah Little Big Daddy your proably right...
I am scared of being trapped in a underground cave, the wall slick with slime and cockroachsog, spiders jumping at me, zombies with uzis stumbling towards me, Naughty Dog or Infinity Ward closing down due to the economy, and getting tortured
Infinity Ward closing down is really scary
More like 2K Boston closing down...*shudder*. I can't even think about it.
I am afraid of drowning although I am very comfortable around water and love to swim and boat. I assume this is actually how I will die only because I am around water alot and when you get to comfortable is when things go wrong.
I must admit, Zombies never seemed too scary to me... Until I saw the Dawn of the Dead remake. Not that the movie is really scary, its just a very realistic portrayal of a zombie attack. If it were to happen I assume there would be no real explanation for it. That would be scary. I'm more scared of One-World Government though. When that day comes, I will take to the streets and I will be branded a terrorist. Just say no to human tracking, the RFID chip is the scariest thing I can think of...
Spiders is such a cliche answer but that's what I fear the most. I hate those nasty things.
My biggest tangible fear is burning alive. Outside of that... I'm deathly afraid of sudden stops (like after a fall). I can fall all day, it's the sudden stop that bothers me.
