Have you ever gotten so close to the end of a story and right as the game is ends, you're like: WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!
Let's talk about these types of games, on this weeks "A Gamers View"
Everyone has one time or another played a game where the experience is so thrilling, that you wanna make some popcorn and take your time through each and every minute of it hoping that it never ends....but it has to no matter what. And when it does, the ending you have worked so hard for, the wonderful awesome cutscene or speech bubble that will tell the end of the story, is an absolutely, positively, without a shadow of a doubt, total PIECE OF GARBAGE!
So I would like to share with you my 5 games with terrible endings! :)
DISCLAIMER: SPOILERS GUYS!
Number 5: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Sorry guys but seriously, the ending to this game was a downer! Sure it's sad an all but seriously, Rorke should've died completely when the train sunk. I mean seriously, how in the world did he jut get up, and swim to the surface with a bullet wound in his chest ONLY to appear a little to the right of Logan and Hesh?! Then he's crazy enough to drag Logan away as the game ends? Oh well, the games fun though no lie in that.
Number 4: The Sabotuer
Ok, how do you survive that?! seriously, how can you survive countless near-death experiences without dying, and then drive in a french nascar race without being recognized or shot, only to just fight your way to the top of the Eiffel tower and kill your worst enemy? Then all you can say is "It's only just begun?" Come on bro, what's the next ending, camel racing in the pyramids?
Number 3: L.A. Noire
This game was so good and well made that when i saw the ending, i almost cried. Cole Phelps had enough time to jump or climb out of the sewer before a gigantic wave of water wiped his life clean away. Just wow, Rockstar, wow.
Number 2: Call of duty: Black ops
Yes, this series has the honor of two places on my list. all i can say is this: the game was so confusing and terribly written, that i had to play it THREE times just to understand it. zombies was probably the thing that kept this game alive and thats all.
Number 1: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
That ending is terrible! I couldn't even unnderstand the game itself! How does enslaving people against their will, plugging them in to a virtual reality, and keeping them standing up for the rest of their lives in neat rows bring a better life?!
And thats it folks! see ya next week! :)
A toast to all gamers,
