The Pixar Theory
A friend told me that all of Pixar's movies are a part of the same universe. After giving it a few seconds of thought, I shot back that the cars in the Toy Story movies are just normal automobiles and are not living beings like those seen in the Cars films. In response, my friend tried to convince me that a great war took place on Earth and machines took over. I laughed and changed the subject.
That friend of mine sent me an email to a website that focuses specifically on the Pixar universe topic. According to this site, Pixar's lore stretches from the 14th century all the way up to the year 5000. I still think these connections are monumental stretches, but there are some cool ideas at play here. Check out the site, and let me know what you think of this idea in the comments section below.
