Domino's Wants To Serve Pizza On The Moon
In celebration of Domino's Pizza's 25th anniversary in Japan, the pizza flinging company announced that it wants to open up a branch on the moon, complete with futuristic bowling and Honda moon-scooters. This plan is obviously a joke (or at least I hope it is), and is backed up by a hilarious video and website. Make sure you watch the entire thing. About halfway through the video, Domino's Japan's president Scott K. Oelkers gives an inspirational speech that is the next best thing to a G.I. Joe PSA. According to Tiffany Hsu of the L.A. Times, who translated the info on the website, Domino's would need to spend $21.7 billion on development costs. Expect the price of two medium two topping pizzas to jump from $5.99 to $1,000,005.99 in the coming days.
