The Best LEGO Star Wars Creation To Date?

by Andrew Reiner on Jun 02, 2011 at 06:21 AM

Over 10,000 LEGO pieces (mostly brown in color) were used to create this amazing Star Wars sandcrawler. It took Marshal Banana (best name ever?) nine months to construct this beautiful replica that features remote controlled steering, exterior lighting, and motorized cranes and conveyor belts within its detailed interior. If you're thinking you'd like to place this sandcrawler on your shelf, you'll need a gigantic steel bookcase, as the 10,000-plus LEGOs translate to a weight of over 44-pounds and three-feet in length. I wish I had nine months to dedicate to a project, not to mention the talent required to make something like this.
