The lights are on
This blog doesn’t really require an explanation. I like Tokyo. I like to take photos. Here are some photos of Tokyo. When it comes to my photography (not professional by any means) my eye tends to gravitate to unique textures, shapes and colors. So there is lots of that below. Thought I would share some of the interesting things found in Japan! Enjoy!

Looks pretty pro to me. Unfortunately my taste for art is a little blah. So I would not know. But I enjoyed them. :)
Nice work. My favorite is the one after the Saporo beer crates.
Thanks JR!
That's my fav too Mark. The color in the sun was just perfect :)
Apparently Japan has some wild cats. Either that or people just let their cats go anywhere. ^_^
So pretty. Thanks for sharing.
I like your take on the turquoise stone the best, but they all look great.
You have a good eye. Keep up the good work.
love the pic of the cat, nice set.
These pics are so clear. What kind of camera were you using?
Awesome shots, Meagan. The last image is my favorite. The colors and reflections from the neon signs are super cool.
@Tony: We saw a fair number of wild cats. It was surprising. I think that Zen garden was their litterbox :P
@Kevin: I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30. I am pretty good at recognizing unique shots and setting up the frame and so on, but the technical stuff is beyond me. The only real tricks I can do are with focusing and blurring and so on. I am a pretty amateur photographer, but it's fun. I need to have GI Nick show me how to use my camera properly :P
@Everyone else: Thanks! Glad you guys like the pics!
Can't believe nobody has mentioned the triforces yet.
Lol at the lazy kitties. I need a new digital camera, and then a vacation to somewhere nice like Tokyo so I can take some great pics too!
nice shot! we ended up dividing up photo duties pretty well, you got all the beautiful scenery shots and i did all the weird junk! : )
Impressive. The cats laying in the shade make me kind of sleepy...
Wow. What a difference a good camera (and an eye for photography) can make.
I want to be that cat
I've always dreamed of going to Japan one day... Maybe after I graduate from college.
Wow. You must have an awesome camera. You take great photos, and their hi-quality too. Nice.
where was that overview of the city taken? nice shot!
