The lights are on

Many, many years ago, when you had to call the Internet on the phone to request permission to surf the web, my brother and I discovered a music program called Fruity Loops. This is what happened.
After figuring out the basics of Fruity Loops, my brother and I went to work and we created what can only be referred to as a masterpiece. In truth, I don't remember if it was a team effort. I am not sure if my brother Tristan wants to take any credit for this disaster beautiful piece of artwork.
The liberal use of the digitized voice saying "check this out!"* at around 20 seconds layers perfectly with the repetitive drum-beat and what can only be described as patterned shrieks. Just when you start getting into the groove, the off-key piano kicks in at around 50 seconds to introduce the riotous breakdown. Also, I have to toot my own horn a little bit and declare that the false ending is simply inspired.
After I finished the project, I saved the file with the name "Take This Mega Man!" and walked away. Ten years later, I asked my brother to send it to me in an e-mail, and he obliged. I thought the world was finally ready to hear the greatest piece of digital music ever created. Fair warning, once you listen to this, all other music will sound boring and inadequate.
Here's a dancing Mega Man to help you get in the mood.
Everyone has been clamoring (and by that, I mean one guy on Twitter casually requested) that I make the mp3 downloadable. Your patience has been rewarded. Right-click here to download the song and share it with all the people you don't like.
*My wife insists that the voice is saying "make this stop!" instead of "check this out!" but, I think she is just hearing what she wants to hear.
The Photoshop photograph above was created taken by my brother, Tristan Hilliard.

It wouldn't be the same without dancing Mega Man.
.... that was an adventure.
The picture at the top is great. I laughed myself inside out. The music is weird. It kind of sounds like something that might be in a video game. The inclusion of the dancing Mega Man really helps distract from the horrendous music. Although any music that I might attempt to make using Fruity Loops would probably be just as abominable or worse.
Sooo.... that was, uh, great Kyle! Some of the wors-I mean, best music I've ever heard! Also, I think the voice is saying "take this out" or "make this out".
That was magnificent. You clearly should get into the music business.
You know that song in Pokemon that made all those kids kill themselves? Is this the sequel?
Clearly, you and your brother had quite the creative ideas of the century.
I would have believed it was a real song used in a classic video game if it weren't for "Check this out!" and the piano.
I thought it was catchy, so if Kyle himself hated it then I guess I am easy to please. At least I discovered something about myself.
AAAAHHHH!!!,ME HURT ME BRAIN...MAKE STOP IT!!!
Kyle...Thank you for making me smile and laugh on a day where I've been extremely stressed and worried about my new job (I just recently became hired as a middle school computer/media teacher on Wednesday the 8th and school starts the 15th). The music was terrible but awesome at the same time.
My head just exploded, but not before projectile-blood came spewing forth from my ears, and my socks were rocked off ( though I was forced to take them off in an attempt to plug my ears and block out the too-awesome music beating its way to and stopping my heart )
