There Is A Mega Man X Ringtone On Your iPhone
I have been waking up to the xylophone alarm sound on my iPhone for years, and I always knew there was something familiar about it. It took a little research but I finally figured it out. It wasn't so much research as it was Chill Penguin's theme coming up on shuffle while listening to my iPod, but isn't that how most scientific discoveries are made?
First, here's the xylophone alarm sound that is included on all iPhones.

Admittedly, it falls apart near the end but, the first few notes are pretty close. The mystery you weren't even curious about has finally been solved.
