Yeah not much thought went into this. Gears 3 just came out, so I highly doubt we'll be seeing any Gears. Left 4 Dead, why would you even consider that. COD and Assassins of course are on a yearly cycle. Lego themed games seem to appeal to kids and I guess make enough money to put one out a year. So in other words, looks like your off to a good start.

COD! COD! COD! God I hope there wont be a COD this year! COD is played out same bullshyt every year. Battlefield and Gears are way better.

Although AC is my favorite franchise and I want to play the next one this year, I would gladly have them release 3 in 2013, but it would be hard for me to wait that long.

I simply don't want to see sequels to any games released in 2011. I think there should always be at least a year between sequels.

So I think Dragon Age III should be a 2013 release.

The problem with Dead Rising is that it wants to be an open world game but to complete it properly, you have to adhere to a very linear pattern and a time limit. The design ideas just do not mix well at all and the whole game suffers because of it.

Pretty good idea with this article. I completely agree with you about the COD series. My runner up would have to be the Assassin's Creed series. To me those games are starting to become too repetitive and formulaic.

I only agree with the Call Of Duty.Im done with those.I love the Dead Rising series.Its fun and challenging trying to do everything in a certain amount of time. I just wish they would make them a little bit harder like the first one. I have Gears Of War but have not played it yet so i really can't comment on that. Lego announces a Lord Of The Rings Lego set coming soon so im hoping for a Lego Video game to go along with that. And i like Left 4 Dead. Thats some of the most fun me and my cousin have ever had in a video game. Its been what,2 or 3 years since 2 came out? im ready for a third.

I do agree with the lego movie games being on the list. I got Lego Indiana Jones 2 for the Wii... I could only stand to play it for 20 minutes.

Finally, someone else who feels the same way about Dead Rising. I love zombies, they're better than werewolves and vampires combined, but Dead Rising is just missing something for me. I tried playing, and the most hours I put into it is like 4.

I'd say Assassin's Creed and Dragon Age. I'm a fan of both franchises but I think Ubi and Bioware needs to take some time out to flesh out the story and improve on the gameplay.

AC:Revelations felt more like an expansion akin to Dragon Age: Awakening.

As for the Dragon Age franchise? They have A LOT to improve on. I loved Origins but I think I just want to forget DA2 ever happened.
