Game Informer Is Hiring!

by Matt Bertz on Jul 14, 2014 at 10:15 AM

If you’re interested in joining the Game Informer family, now is your chance! We currently have two full-time positions available – associate editor and video editor. Before sending us your résumé, please be aware of a few things:

*You must be prepared to move to Minneapolis (and no whining about Minnesota winters).

*You must include a cover letter and writing samples for the associate editor position, and a cover letter and video samples for the video editor position. Yes, that is samples as in plural. We prefer selections that relate to video games.

*You must have extensive video game knowledge.

*If you are applying for the associate editor position and aren't already working for another website or magazine, you must show us a plethora of amazing writing samples. This job is not sitting around playing video games. It's a high-pressure, deadline intensive, creative environment that requires people skills, extraordinary writing talent, the ability to complete tasks, and a nose for stories.

*We generally receive an overwhelming amount of résumés, so this process may take time. Keep this in mind if you don’t hear back from us right away.

You can read the qualifications for each position below.
