The lights are on
In this week's show we discuss the passing of THQ, plus Ni No Kuni and some Nintendo news.
First up, host Matt Helgeson is joined by Andy McNamara, Andy Reiner, and Matthew Kato to talk about the recent demise of THQ and the future of some of its franchises that were recently sold to the highest bidder.
Reiner returns in the second segment, joined by Kim Wallace, to talk about Kim's review of the highly anticipated collaboration between Level-5 and the legendary animation house Studio Ghibli. Kim didn't like the game as much as some, and it's an interesting debate about its relative merits.
Finally, Kyle Hilliard, Dan Ryckert, and Bryan Vore joined the show to talk about a spate of recent Nintendo announcements, which include new Zelda and Mario games for Wii U.

Anyone else think the sound quality's a bit...off?
Might just be me, though.
Goodbye THQ and Vigil.
Hello Wind Waker HD!
:(
Very sad for THQ indeed, they will be missed greatly. Hopefully their IP's and studios will do well under the new owners.
ni no kuni will be remembered as a classic, this review wont be.
The nintendo event was amazing
typical
the smt vs fire emblem is an rpg
they glossed over kart, 3d mario, smash for e3.
Why does GI ignore "The Wonderful 101"? You guys didn't post the Nintendo Direct Trailer (even tough I sent a news tip)...it's the only trailer you didn't post...it's also the only game you don't mention here! It's a Kamiya game ***!!!!

They forgot the best Nintendo news...SMASH BROTHERS AT E3!!!!
i usually am turned away from RPGs but ni no kuni looks interesting
Wow... what was Kim playing? It sure as hell wasn't Ni No Kuni. I'm about 15-16 hours in and I haven't experienced any of the issues with insta-kills, or unbalanced difficulty, or anything else that she talked about.
Honestly, it was painful to listen to that segment. She has no idea what the hell she's talking about.
