The lights are on
Regular host Matt Helgeson is off on a less-than-secret mission to New York City, so guest host Adam Biessener breaks down this week's two highly anticipated launches with the GI crew's able assistance.
Dan Ryckert and Ben Reeves join to rave about Firaxis' excellent XCOM: Enemy Unknown (read Adam's review here) in between spoiling the ending of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and arguing about Adam Duritz and Courteney Cox. In the second segment, Joe Juba and Andy Reiner break down their favorite strategies for creative mayhem in Dishonored (read Joe's review here).

Dan, you are not sad at all that you killed Jeff M. Don't even pretend.
That first eight minutes was wild. Good job Adam, another good show:)
I'm surprised none of them named some of thier guys in XCOM after characters from cyberia or overblood.
Why is Ben Reeves so hilarious? haha Anyway good show. Your coverage and information on XCOM is really convincing me to pick it up.
I am not jealous of Matt....
Alluding to the part in the podcast about the lead singer of Counting Crows being the rock of your squad, mine is the opposite. Mine is Morgan Freeman with hilariously white beard. Also a plus, he is South African like in the movie with Matt Damon.
Eddie Vedder is a great singer if you want to listen so someone whine for 4 minutes.
Great show guys. Can't wait to pick up XCOM.
Epic.
The more I hear and see Dishonored, I just want it even more.
Never heard of XCOM, but it sounds fun.
I'm almost 3 months behind on the GI Show. What gives?! Haha. Wonderful show per usual. I have enjoyed both Dishnored and XCOM, and with the more recent releases XCOM is still my game of the year by far.
