The lights are on
On this episode, we discuss Kojima's new chapter in the Metal Gear Solid saga and speak with the lead writer of Assassin's Creed 3.
Ground Zeroes is first, with Metal Gear experts Kyle Hilliard, Joe Juba, Dan Ryckert, and Ben Hanson joining host Matt Helgeson to separate fact from fiction regarding the new trailer. We also engage in some high-level geekery and come away impressed by Juba's exhaustive knowledge of MGS lore.
In the second segment, we're joined by a special guest, Corey May of Ubisoft. Corey has been the lead writer for Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II, and Assassin's Creed III. Matt Bertz, Matt Helgeson, and Andy McNamara pick his brain about his work on AC, as well as his views on the game industry as a whole.

OH YEAH!
Just for the record, "Here's to You" was originally chosen as the ending theme to MGS4 because one of Kojima's first ideas for its ending was to have Snake and Otacon turn themselves in over accusations of war crimes. They'd then be unfairly executed for those crimes. So it'd match up with the lyrics to Here's to You, which was about two people that were unfairly executed.
Andy McNamara's on a podcast! Haha I know he was on the "co-op games" one but he's not on many. I love when he's on.
Yes. More on Assassin's Creed 3.
Yay! I love the writing of the AC games, so that segment should be interesting.
Corey may f*** yeah
They've forgotten to mention that in Peacewalker you can Research and Design a blanket that turns you invisible and a Railgun so a hologram thingy that took off the letters isn't that crazy.
Nice, best show to date.
The discussion with Corey May was very interesting, he's a bad ass.
Can I suggest something as far as the XOF thing goes? Basically, what if those are actually supposed to be let's say.. American flags? (Just a suggestion) Since the thing is showing off the Fox engine.. why not show it's capability to reverse or replace images? I mean, a simple swap could change those patches and the XOF on the helicopter to something else.
